A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESIDENT DOCTOR

First, Debra Ravert gets up early, after she gets dressed, she wears a white coat, then

she drives her car to John Hopkins hospital and when she arrives she heads to the children’s

emergency room, Debra walks with two coffees to deliver one to her co-worker.

The doctor Debra does not forget her medical equipment when starting her work, that is

why, she goes to her locker to pick up her stethoscope.

Subsequently, the medical team greets each other and talks about patients, they visit

them with a smile on their face, both she and her medical team always work diligently to care for

patients in the best way and be alert to all emergencies.

After, they go to the simulation area in order to have a better response and be more

prepared with the patients (They perform an endotracheal intubation in that case), and as part of

their training, they attend meetings with other doctors who teach them from their experiences.

Finally, once their workday is over, they sometimes go home first, but often meet at a

bar to relax, eat and drink.
