- The goal of this course is to provide you with some fundamental understanding of how
materials are manufactured. Specifically, it will establish a fundamental understanding of
material properties in the context of material processing and applying that knowledge to
material manufacture and technology. The main goal of this course is to introduce
students to various manufacturing technologies and operations, including metallic and
non-metallic operation methods. We will focus on how each manufacturing technology
works, as well as its relative benefits and drawbacks.

Describe the difference between an introductory course and other course (min 50 wards)
- An introductory course offers you with the fundamental knowledge of a particular field
of study, and it serves as a foundation for higher-level courses. Those courses are
designed to give you an overview of a topic that you might be interested in to furth you
study. One unique difference between an introductory course and other course is the
number of subjects taught. An introduction course often covers more material than a
standard course, requiring extensive studying and memorization. In addition, introductory
courses are typically taught in a lecture format and focus on textbook material.
