ENTREPRENEURSHIP SEMINAR
GROUP ASSIGNMENT

GENERAL GUIDE

1. Students must answer in English.


2. This assignment contributes 60 percent of the total marks for the course.
3. Any enquiries should be directed to me during the class or consultation hour by
appointment.
4. This is group assignment. Each group should have max. 4 persons.
5. The group will be assigned by lecturer according to students list by clustering the name
(A:1-5, B:6-10, C:11-15, D:16-20, E:21-25, F:26-30 etc…).

ASSIGNMENT PHASE 1 QUESTIONS (15%)


(a) Task: You are required to become entrepreneurship junior consultant to a micro or small
business.
(b) Identify the business which run by one of your group members.
(c) Meeting on line with group members to discuss about the business. The owner will be the
client of this junior consultant project. Your task is to identify issues and problem.
Document your meeting. At least one online meeting.
(d) Owner must give all the information required. Other group members must willing to
help improving this business
(e) Develop Business Model Canvas for this business.
(f) Present your BMC and submit BMC and explanation of each 9 segments (15%).
(g) Highlight your improvement.

ASSIGNMENT PHASE 2 QUESTION


(h) Identify the company history, issues or problems of this business. Do environmental
scanning and SWOT analysis.
(i) You need to have virtual group discussion and suggest the creative and innovative
solutions to the business. TOWS analysis. Your suggestions can be short term and long
term.

(j) All team members must help this business to improve. You all are given 6 weeks to
shows the impact.

(k) Prepare your project report by referring to the rubric.

(l) Highlight your project impact.

(m) Final project Presentation (15 marks).
