Currently working as Bladelogic consultant for implementation of BMC products for clients in
Canada.

Tieto Software ltd:

Lead Specialist - Tieto DevOps (March 2012 – October 2016)

As an Automation or DevOps Architect, I with my team were able to implement ITOM tools like BMC
Bladelogic Server Automation across more than 27000 servers. This acted as foundation to whole
DevOps framework and enabled DevOps team to build business value cases, from manually
triggered operations to zero touch intelligent automation. Where automation of build releases,
hotfixes, patching, compliance/hardening, provisioning, ticket handling and testing took centre
stage. Automation process involved various tools like BSA, Puppet, BMC Atrium Orchestrator, HPOO,
VMware, Jenkins, Servicenow etc. based on requirements and feasibilities. Scripts and automated
package builds were designed based on business value requirements.

International Onsite Projects:

Infrastructure Automation (Czech Republic / Finland)

In this project my team which act as Automation Excellence team delivered more than 30 business
values cases using different automation tools and Service Now. Business value cases includes
Antivirus agent installations, Security base lining, Windows/Unix server provisioning (Virtual and
Physical), Backup agent implementation, Monitoring agent implementation and many more fully
automated deliveries. Integration of BMC Atrium Orchestrator and Servicenow was implemented to
start end to end delivery automation with ITSM process compliance.

IT Service Enablement: Operations (Czech Republic)

I have setup a team which is responsible for handling operations of all automation and ITSM tools.
This project required to develop best practices, OLAs, change and incident management, policies and
guidelines for the teams to work also delivering technical knowledge of handling issues. These tools
includes BBSA, BAO, HPOO, HPDMA, Servicenow etc.

BMC Engage 2014 (USA)

This was a business conference by BMC meant to introduce new products and upcoming features of
existing tools. Was part of all the showcases related to BMC Data Centre Automation, Cloud Life
Cycle Management along with SecOps and DevOps showcase. Interacted and networked with
experts across the globe to understand best practices, value cases and challenges faced by them. I
got great insight to the tools and their development activities in BMC.

CGI Information Systems and Management Consultants

Compliance Coordinator: From Feb 2011 to March 2012

Was awarded for On-boarding of more than 50 customers on automated security compliance. I
helped in development of CIS (Centre for internet Security) and custom security standard
compliance. Implementation involved more than 8000 Windows and Linux servers. By continuous
security compliance management we were able to avoid any kind of penalties, by involving various
customer delivery managers and designing of centralised compliance dashboard.

Team Lead, FINRA Release Engineering Team: June 2008 to Feb 2011

My team migrated more than 50 of client’s application to Bladelogic server automation to automate
existing application release management. Where my team was involved in development of
automated builds which were designed to be deployed on QC, Test, UAT and Production
Environment. This resulted in increased number of releases with less human errors, which over all
led to better efficiency. Builds were designed to be deployed over cross Operating Systems, Websites
and databases of customer’s business critical environment.

We were also able reduce the downtime of client’s applications and databases since automated
process can be scheduled to run at specified time and completes quicker as compare to when it is
done manually, which also reduced the chances of human errors.
