Artwork #3: Student Choice Artwork

You have a choice for this assignment. I want you to choose to create a personal project or a
personal painting. The personal project can be created with any medium, and the personal
painting is going to be used with wood board or canvas and paint.

Assignment:
You will choose to create a Personal Project OR a Personal Painting. This artwork needs to be
created with yourself in mind.

Think about the following questions when creating your artwork:

1. How can you integrate your own style and personal experiences in an eye-catching artwork?
2. How can incorporating colour affect 3 dimensional forms?
3. What do you want to share?

Requirements:
This artwork needs to be fully rendered with shadows, tint, value, and dimension. You can
accomplish this with any medium you choose. Think large-scale if you are drawing. Please stay
away from cartoons and logos.

Steps:

1. Pre-plan your artwork in your sketchbook or a piece of paper

2. Get your plan approved by Ms. Berg

3. Get a piece of good paper/ Canvas

4. Start working!

5. You will need to Title your artwork and write 3-4 sentences description about the
artwork

6. Once you have completed the drawing you need to write a reflection in your sketchbook

- Do you think your artwork was successful?
- What do you like most about your artwork?
- What do you think you could have done better?
