Unit Overview:
The students will learn to integrate their personal experience in artwork by introspection. Students will be
completing a drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and indigenous units throughout the semester. These units
are the fundamentals of art and allow students to grow into their craft and ways of creating. Students will be
introduced to new mediums, points of view, perspectives, and ways of integrating their personality into their
artworks. There are two additional sketchbook assignments where students can use their own style of drawing to
complete the required assignments.
