Method of instruction

Sessions start with a brief lecture on the topic for the day. Following the lecture, the chef instructor will
perform a demonstration and then the participants will have their hands-on training afterwards. A short
break will precede the demonstration or the hands-on activities.

Class attendance

Attendance to all the classes is important. The following are the policies for attendance

Attendance will be taken each session. To facilitate checking of attendance, the participant should sign
in the daily attendance sheet given by the chef instructor. The instructor will also check the attendance
through a roll call. The class will start when 50% of the participants is already present, or within 30
minutes of the first hour of class

Wearing of the correct uniform is part of attendance. The prescribed uniform must be worm properly
during lecture and laboratory classes.

It is the sole responsibility of the participants to come to all the classes on time. Being caught in traffic is
not an acceptable excuse.
