In the 1930s Amelia Earhart was one of the most famous women in the world.
As the first woman passenger and the first female pilot to cross the Atlantic
Ocean by air, she has a place in the record books that can never be taken (1). In

installations, others suggested that Earhart and Noonan were part of the plot.
