10 Coolest Aircrafts Models Which Actually Exist

Every kid in his life has probably played with a remote-controlled toy at least once. The excitement and
exhilaration of controlling a vehicle by only your hands and performing all the functions that a life-sized
vehicle would do is incomparable to anything else. But most of us would agree that flying a remote-
controlled airplane is much more enticing than a car or a truck. The capability of the thrusters to lift the
model to heights no other vehicle can reach, is an achievement on its own. Performing intense
maneuvers and finally, landing the aircraft are also the best parts of flying an RC aircraft. And since you
have clicked on this video, we’re sure you have experience when it comes to flying one. In this video,
we’ll tell you all about the 10 coolest aircraft models which are hard to believe that they even exist, but
they actually do and are completely controllable with all the functions of the real-world aircrafts at
hand. These aircrafts are almost as capable as their real-life counterparts and can give you the same fun
and challenge the original ones would. So, without any more delay, let’s get started:

#10 Boeing 747

This 1:13 scale Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747-400 RC model is also one of the world's largest RC planes. This
RC plane, which is 17.8 feet (5.43 metres) long and 16.24 feet (4.95 metres wide), is truly impressive.
The 150lb (68kg) RC plane can easily take to the skies thanks to the 30.9lb (14kg) thrust provided by four
IQ Hammer 140 turbine engines. The RC plane's builder, Adi Pitz, estimates it took 2,000 hours. It even
has retractable landing gear that works while flying.

#9 CH 113 Labrador

This is an incredibly well-designed helicopter with two outstanding rotor blades. It's not every day that
an RC plane or helicopter turns out to be an artistic masterpiece. If someone is going to spend a year
building something and spending tens of thousands of dollars, they better be able to fly. If you don't,
you'll quickly waste all of the effort and money you put in. In addition to its dual 20-centimeter-long
rotor blades, this military tandem helicopter measures 2.3 metres in length and weighs just 22
kilogrammes. It is powered by a contra-neck pyro, 850 motor, which is in turn controlled by a contra-net
cosmic, 200hp ESC. Double 6s 8000 milli ampere batteries power this 1/6 scale model.

#8 MH-53J -PAVE LOW The Third

In the world of RC models, there are some incredibly realistic and well-detailed models available, but
none is as well-detailed as this Sikorsky H-53J -PAVE LOW The Third helicopter. The Swiss heli challenge
2016 featured a demonstration flight of this bird. This aircraft model is huge, powerful, and equipped
with a turbine engine for maximum output. When it first appeared in the show, the entire audience
erupted in applause due to its stunningly creative paint job. Moreover, the flight simulation was
flawlessly realistic; there was no way to tell it apart from the real thing. The model's landing gear can be
retracted for a more comfortable flight. Is there an alternative model that's more accurate?

#7 Mil MI-24 HIND

The impressive 1/7-scale MIL Mi-24 Hind attack helicopter replica was built by an Italian model
enthusiast named Mirkos Ani. The electric heli has an eight-foot rotor span and a 12-S 1600 mAh lipo
battery that allows it to fly for up to eight minutes.
Heli classics, a company that develops the mechanics and parts, is responsible for them.

A pal Taurus 12 kilowatt turbine powers this excellent radio-controlled helicopter, which is only 25
kilograms in weight.

#6 McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle

This beautiful 1/8-scale jet plane features a single turbofan engine for a smooth flight. In order to build
the lightest and most robust f-15 possible, epoxy composite fibreglass and Nomex honeycomb were
used in its construction. Elevator and flaps are built into the elegantly designed wings, which can be
removed for easy maintenance. There are LEDs built into the stainless exhaust and a turbine that
produces 17 to 35 pounds of thrust with a 4.7-liter fuel tank. Despite its 63-inch wingspan and 90-inch
body length, the aircraft model is the ultimate aerial beast thanks to the combination of all its features.

#5 Kalini K7

This 16-foot-long Kalinin k7 may be just what you're looking for if you enjoy flying large toys or unusual
aircraft. This monstrous plane can soar through the skies thanks to its enormous wingspan and massive
dimensions. One full-size K7 was built, but it crashed after seven flights due to a structural failure in the
tail boom, so finding another RC one is highly unlikely. The 99 pound model's 615 CC ASP gas engines
and electric pusher motor give it plenty of power for flying at the next-to-giant scale. It's made of wood
with 16 service brakes, a steerable nose, and wheels that disassemble into six modules for easy
transport. Rainier Mattel, a great RC model enthusiast, designed and built this Swiss aircraft, and it can
be yours for around $14,000.

#4 Sukhoi SU-27

The Sukhoi SU-27 is well-known. Sukhoi, a Russian defence contractor, designed the aircraft. Here is the
same replica of the Sukhoi Su-27 that was built from a model kit car using the Jetcat p180 RX turbine
and the Mercury power supply. It can perform all types of aerobatic manoeuvres and looks and sounds
like a real sukhoi su-27 when flying. inside the exhaust duct, there are LEDs installed to simulate the
appearance of burning flames. 3.1 metres in length and only 24 kilogrammes in weight define this
extravagant plaything.

#3 Antonov-AN225 with Buran Spaceship

Another huge RC plane featured on this video is this 1:16 scale model of the mighty Antonov AN-225.
Weighing in at 206lb (93.5kg), the entire model has a wingspan of 19 feet (5.8m) and a length of 17 feet
(5.3m). Powered by a mixture of Behotec JB-180 and 90er EDF 6s engines, their combined power is
enough to put out around 104lb (47kg) of thrust.

#2 SR-71 Blackbird

As the name implies, this plane model is a close replica of a cutting-edge spy plane in service with the
United States government. Take note of how closely it resembles the real sr-71 blackbird's graceful
flying and control. Lothar Heinrich designed the aircraft model, which was showcased at the Oberon
Heusen jet meet in Germany. Fortunately, the aircraft model is powered by two 57-pound-thrust Jetcat
p200 turboprop engines. That much thrust is needed to propel the sr-71 to its top speed of 170 miles
per hour. The model's wingspan is super long at 97 inches. It's 177 inches long and weighs only 35
kilograms. The aircraft is constructed from balsa and pie wood and finished with fiberglass cloth.

#1 Military Airbus A400M

Controlling an RC aircraft in the air is not as easy as it sounds. The larger and heavier the aircraft, the
more difficult it becomes to control its maneuvers. Now we’ll ask you to imagine controlling an Airbus
A400M replica, which is almost four metres long and weighs about 38 kgs. Even though it sounds
absurd, it's as real as it gets. And it's not a model built from a kit by a manufacturer of RC models in
production. Hannes Heppe, a long-time enthusiast, spent six years building it. It's a big aircraft, weighing
almost 84 pounds, but once in the air, it's quite fast. And the sound quality is quite good. In addition to
being an exact replica of the A400M Atlas, it is also fitted with a ramp that can be opened remotely in
the middle of the flight. When that occurs, miniature paratroopers equipped with real parachutes drop
from the sky.
