1. What is human being?

The human being is a complex matter and many believe that just trying to understand life and what

it means to be human is a futile undertaking. We believe that we have to try to understand life and

get a grip on the many faces of life, because it can be of great value to us to learn to recognize the

fundamental principles of how life is lived to the fullest. Learning to recognize the good and evil

forces of life helps us to make use of the good ones. To be human is to balance between hundreds

of extremes. Sometimes we have to avoid these extremes, but at other times it seems we should

pursue them, to better understand life. With our roots in medicine, we believe in the importance of

love for better health. The secret of the heart is when reason and feelings meet and we become

whole. Where reason is balanced perfectly by feelings and where mind and body come together in

perfect unity, a whole new quality emerges, a quality that is neither feeling nor reason, but

something deeper and more complete. In this paper, we outline only enough biology to clarify what

the fundamental inner conflicts are about. The insight into these conflicts gives us the key to a

great deal of the problems of life. To imagine pleasures greater than sensual pleasures seems

impossible to most people. What could such a joy possibly be? But somewhere deep in life exists

the finest sweetness, the greatest quality in life, the pure joy of being alive that emerges when we

are fully present and life is in balance. This deep joy of life is what we call experiencing the

meaning of life.

2. What is man’s ultimate desire for living?

When Aristotle is writing about the Good for human beings, he is talking about happiness. He

claims that this Good, happiness, is the ultimate goal of a man's life. Happiness is the meaning and

purpose of life, the whole end and aim of human existence. The ultimate goal behind every goal is

happiness. Without question, the most productive attitude to hold if you are to achieve any goal,

including the ultimate goal of happiness, is one embracing positive thinking and happiness.

Aristotle believes that the Chief Good for humans is Eudaimonia (often translated as 'happiness').

Man's function is what distinguishes him from all other beings, and thus the function of man is the

activity of the rational soul according to the best and most complete virtue.

worthwhile – a life that makes a contribution, instead of being solely self-centered. In related to

Science, it is science that provides good life for everyone and at the same time, it is the quest for

good life that fuels science. In this vast world where number of inventions are rapidly growing,

science made the lives of many convenient.

2. How do you describe human flourishing?

In my own opinion, flourishing itself might be understood as a state in which all aspects of a

person’s life are good. We might also refer to such a state as complete human well-being, which is

again arguably a broader concept than psychological well-being. Therefore, human flourishing is

defined as an effort to achieve self-actualization and fulfillment within the context of a larger

community of individuals, each with the right to pursue his or her own such efforts. The nurse

helps the individual to reclaim or develop new pathways toward human flourishing. In terms of

science and technology, technology as a Mode of Revealing. Flourishing a state where people

experience positive emotions, positive psychological functioning and positive social functioning,

most of the time,” living “within an optimal range of human functioning.”

3. To what extent does scientific advancements affect human flourishing?

As the world grows rapidly into 21st century, science and technology advancements affects human

flourishing, which it was back in the days when penicillin, hygiene, fridges, washing machines, dish

washer, etc. was invented that greatly helped us freeing up time making life easier for us.

But to answer the topic, people can now easily get justice by posting evidence online, on social

media, to defeat a crony business, corrupt politicians or dirty coppers, etc. Where before you had

to do a long grind to contact news media and tell your story which no one may believe or bother to

follow up as it may not be a big story and doesn’t generate any profit, etc.

Now we can easily get in touch with friends and family through social media, so elders doesn’t sit
alone but can see their children and gran children regularly, We can have live video meetings from

across the world, that is quite inexpensive with modern equipment, where it would before be

unthinkable to have video calls which was horrendously expensive over copper wire with huge 6-8

sec delay! We can store and send lots of pictures, messages, etc instantly it doesn’t have to go

with snail mail that may take days or weeks.

Commercial budges are smaller since you now can surgically make influencers target the market

you want, not shoot with buck shots and waste millions on the wrong customers that doesn’t care.
