Welcome to the ALSTOM PlantExplorer V3!

Congratulations, the installation was successful and you can start working with PlantExplorer V3.
The following icons are placed on your desktop or in the start menu:

By clicking the shortcut ALSTOM PlantExplorer V3 the application will open and will log you in directly to the main window.
Here you can see some information about the project, e.g. Project name, Project Type, Status Comment, Publication date.

 Tabs in the main window

You can find four tabs in the main window:

Plant Documentation
O&M Manual documentation and Illustrated Parts Catalogues displayed in an Menu tree for navigation and shows
a table with attributes combined with a document link and/or hot-spotted drawings.

Menu Tree Documentation

O&M Manual documentation displayed in an Menu tree with links to open the document.

Info List
Shows the list with added documents and/or Parts from the O&M Manuals and/or Illustrated Parts Catalogues, selected by the user.

Search
In the Search tab you can find 3 different search possibility:
- Search in Illustrated Parts Catalogue
- Search in O&M Manual documentation
- Search for usage in O&M Manual documentation

 Search in Illustrated Parts Catalogue

Searches in Illustrated Parts Catalogue can be performed in two ways:

- Either use this search tab or
- use the menu tree and drill down to the desired information

 Select the project or node you want to start with the search in the menu tree first
 Enter your search pattern in the input fields. You can use a * as wildcard!
 In the result table you can click on an result and it jumps directly into the menu tree of
the Plant Documentation tab and shows you the result.

Searches in O&M Manuals can be performed in two ways:

- Either use this search tab or
- use the menu tree and drill down to the desired information:

 Select the project or node you want to start with the search in the menu tree first
 Enter your search pattern in the input fields. You can use a * as wildcard!
 The input field “Search for” is here for the full text search and searches inside documents only
 In the result table you can click on an result and it opened the document in an extra window

 Search for usage in O&M Manual documentation

Search for usage in O&M Manuals can be performed in two ways:

- Either use this search tab or
- use the menu tree and drill down to the desired information:

 Select the project or node you want to start with the search in the menu tree first
 Enter your search pattern in the input field. You can use a * as wildcard!
 In this input field you can search for Document No., Document title or KKS No.
 In the result table you can click on an result and it jumps directly into the menu tree of the Plant
Documentation tab and shows you where the result is located.
