 Defenition

This material contains about the English language needs of the soldiers and prospective

soldiers.

 Client to be serve

This material is suitable for use by soldiers and prospective soldiers or those who need or are

interested in particular English for the army.

 Delivery

Material submitted in accordance with the speaking subject matter. Place in accordance with

the submitted materials, both in closed and open space.

 Intensify

Each lesson is designed in 45 minutes for the meetings.

 Content

Speaking skills are required, in accordance with the needs of the learner field. In addition,

expected to practice speaking controlled according to need.

 Outcome

It is hoped that students are able to master the English language especially its English for the

army and according to the required needs.

1. Divide students became some groups

Cooperative learning has benefits or advantages are very great in providing

opportunities for students to further develop their ability in learning activities. This

is because in cooperative learning activities, students are required to be active in

learning through collaborative activities within the group.

Karli and Yuliariatiningsih (2002: 72) explain the excess in cooperative learning

model, namely:

a. Can involve students actively in developing the knowledge, attitudes, and skills in

the teaching and learning environment that is open and democratic.


b. Can develop a variety of potential self-actualization which has been owned by the

student.

c. Can develop and train a variety of attitudes, values, and social skills to be applied

in the life of society.

d. Students not only as an object of study but also as a subject of learning because

students can become peer tutors for other students.

e. Students are trained to work together, because not only learned the material but

also the demands to develop their potential optimally to the success of the group.

f. Provide an opportunity for students to learn and acquire the knowledge needed to

understand directly, so that what is learned is more meaningful to him.

The use of cooperative learning in the learning activities at school, it has many

advantages or benefits. Excess oriented optimal learning activities so that learning

objectives can be effectively achieved through the support of teachers and students

in learning.

2. With your partner, remember the word of the part of gun.


By remembering with partner, we can easily remember the vocabulary because

when we do the mistakes, our partner will correct it directly, so it makes us easy to

remember than remember the vocabulary alone.

3. Find the function part of gun.

In this case we make two parts, A and B, part A is about parts of gun, and part B is

about the functions. We make it irregular so they just need to connect them, after

they connect it, we ,as the teacher, have to correct it and let them memorize it with

their own partner.

4. Every group come forward to explain that.


After they have memorize it, we tell them that they have to explain what they’ve

got, explaining about part of gun and its function, in front of the class. It also make

them be confidence to talk in front of public.
