Cordath – Green dragon – radiation instead of poison.

- A patch of blackened scales on his belly
o To spot them,   Identifying a creature’s weak point requires you to take
the Search action to physically examine the monster. Make a Wisdom
(Perception) or Intelligence (Investigation) check (DM’s choice) with a DC equal
to 8 + the creature’s challenge rating
o  In order to attack the weak point, you must take a –5 penalty to hit the small
target. If the attack hits, it ignores the invulnerable creature’s damage
resistances and immunities and deals an additional 10 damage
- Each hit from the lightning cannon lowers his AC by 1 and makes
the soft spot easier to hit (-3 to targeted strike, then -1)
- Once he has heard them, he will try and hide – above you, you hear
the beating of wings / the dragon is gone… Before revealing
himself (frightful presence)
- “Little thieves! Bold, little thieves, you are, stealing the treasures
of Cordath the Terrible. Look around you. So many skeletons. It is
hubris to think you are any different than those who have come
before you! Leave these treasures. They are not yours. I fought for
them, and if you want to fight for them too, I will oblige you.”
- “Perhaps one of you can tell a good story. You will be spared as
long as you can keep me entertained.”
- When he’s killed, Cordath will say “Well-fought, and well-won,
little thieves. One last request, from an old dying creature. Sing me
a song, or tell me a story to ease the passing.”

While everybody else divys up the treasure, Archie says “I’m going to
head out and get Stavros and the dropship inbound. Take your time
looting this place – We’re a long way away from the Citadel right now,
it’ll take some time to get here. Lutra, Rexus – could I get one or both of
you to help toss me over the chasm?
CONSULT LOOT PAGE IN BOOK

When you get to the chasm, you’ll find large wooden beams placed over
the gap. In the pool room, there has clearly been a fight. Two wyrmlings
are lying dead – a third waits under the waterfall. Archie has fought off
some, taken the pillars from the floor to the chasm.

Outside the cave, the sun is high in the sky. It’s 3pm. You see that the
forest has lost that certain magical essence. The insects don’t buzz quite
as loudly, the mounds of foliage in the orchard don’t move at all, and the
trees seem just a little less green. Mother can pick you up in four hours –
enough time for a short rest.

Dropship Trip
Roll perception (what they see while taking the short rest) The highest
score sees it first: A star, shining brighter than you’d expect in the
daytime, growing closer, until, with a tremendous wind, the bright ball
of light that is the dropship Picard touches down a few hundred feet
away. The mountainside is scorched, any nearby trees are blown back
and tremble from the force of it.
“Get in.” a rope ladder comes swinging out of the light. “We’ve had to
cut back on some of the delicacies of the dropship. The maintenance
hangar in the citadel is a herbology class at the moment.”
Stavros is at the controls, his white spandex suit looking a little
unwashed. One of the large shoulder points is a little crooked.
“We don’t really have much time. It looks like war is inevitable at this
point, but we should still be able to get Mother in a position to end it
quickly, with minimum deaths.”
For a second, the thundering of the dropship engines falters, and for a
second it goes into freefall. Dex saves + Con if concentration is a thing.
1d6 bludgeoning. Stavros takes a heavy swig from his hipflask.
“Like I said, the dropship has seen better days. Do you remember when
we first met, Revengers? The ritual in the volcano. That’s what we’re
going to do – or rather, what we’re trying to do. To bind a deity to an
earthly form.”
“The problem is, we only have this” – he whips out the book of bindings
that some of you recognize from the ritual. “And this only covers how to
bind demons. Converting it to apply to Celestials has been a bit of a
challenge.”
 One of the requirements is a place of worship. We have
that covered. Where Baphomet was worshipped in a
maze of chaos and bloodshed, Mother is worshipped,
whether they know it or not, by the researcher mages in
the Citadel above our base. It’s the closest we have to a
temple to knowledge
 Instead of virgin blood, sorcerer blood is needed,
though not as much – we’re not binding her to a
minotaur, just a woman.
 We also need to translate some of the specifics. This
book o’ binding (he produces the book) only really
applies to demons. Converting it to bind a celestial –
the opposite – is a tricky process, and right now, Mavis
is working on it. Do you know anything that could
help? Perhaps one of you has some kind of formal
education regarding the conversion of rituals?
 There is also the matter of making a convincing
doppelganger of Sofia. Ideally, we would have some of
the essence contained in her flesh – that which mother
calls DNA. But, of course, this is very difficult to find
so we’re going to have to make do with yours, Eclectos.
I don’t suppose you have some kind of reservoir of you-
stuff? A bottle of blood, or a growth that was removed?
Anything will do, but we will need a considerable
chunk.
 I know this is a hard thing to consider, but a finger
would do the job. Back in the old days, these
creation rituals consumed a rib, but Mavis and I
are fairly sure any old bit will work.
 The engines cough again, and you’re all shaken for a second.
Stavros says “I don’t think we’re going to make it the whole way
without some tinkering.” He takes a long pull on his flask. “Boys!
You got any schematics in your head? Grendle has been working
0n her own little fixes to things – the militant should have some
plans to fix things like this.” He drinks again. The ride is very
shaky. You’re not sure if it’s turbulence, engine trouble or just
Stavros’ shaky hands.
o Mother says “Uplink commencing.”
o Archie and Milo suddenly begin to blink rapidly as plans for
a complicated system of gears and levers materialize in their
minds.
o Stavros begins spiraling down towards the sea, pulling up
whenever he can, but you can hear the strain it puts on the
engine. Whenever he hits a patch of smooth air, he uses the
opportunity to sip a little. (Dex saves, 1d6 bludgeoning.
Stavros does wisdom saves)
o Eventually, you’re skimming over the water, and with a lurch
and a big splash, you come to a stop. You hear a low
‘byoooooom’ from above you as the power drains from the
ship. You are alone, far out at the ocean. If you like, you can
make perception checks.
o There are several ships on the Western horizon, leaving
Godenheim. There is also one ship coming from the East,
moving South-West. DC 15 perception will reveal a Lluna de
Ruah flag.
 “Archie, Milo. The main rotors are on the roof. See
what you can do, ok?” – slight of hand checks +
athletics checks. This takes about half an hour.
Perception checks will allow you to listen to the door.
 Stavros covers his com link and holds up a sign that
says “Eclectos. Clear your mind. Close the link to
Mother. (Wisdom roll). Right. If he fails, Stavros will
cast Dispel Magic. You hear a couple of quiet groans
from the roof. “With them gone, lets talk. How sure are
we that this is the right thing to do. I’ve been with
Mother from the beginning. Sodzma’s been saying
some things recently that are making me doubt my
faith. Doubt is the enemy, they say. It troubles me. Lets
sort this out.
- Discussion about the morality of how-far-is-too-far ensues.

- The ship manages to take off with little effort, but there is now a
distinct whirring of gears.

o The Lluna de Ruah are headed to Zemandia, where they have

no reputation. They can start afresh.  Laia is leading the
acrobats these days, but sadly Arnau was killed in a skirmish
with the Dreki outside Salenza. Their carts were burned, and
they lost many brothers and sisters. They decided to buy a
ship in Salenza and sail it over the Whistling Seas, down the
Goden and away to far Zemandia.
o Mother will say “Nour, I recognize your dedication to your
family and those you love. Loyalty comes at high prices these
days, but I can give the Lluna de Ruah what they so
desperately need. Redemption in the eyes of the public.
Should the cloning of Sofia be successful, we could have the
Lluna de Ruah perform at the largest event of the decade,
maybe even the century. The wedding of Sofia Archantos
and Remes Rosen. If they are as legendary as you say, songs
will be sung of their songs that day. All I ask for is your
loyalty. When the time comes, will you serve the greater
good, even if it means sacrifice? Think of the good we could
do with the child of a legendary hero, raised by legendary
artists, on our side.
Arrival at Citadel
“Please keep your hands and legs inside the vehicle” Stavros says as he
aims the dropship at a patch of water that seems to shimmer in a peculiar
manner. Instead of hitting the water, you emerge into a relatively small
hall, with cluttered machinery and tools lying about the floor. The
dropship comes to a juddering stop, and you see Grendle emerge from
under a pile of scrap metal “For Mother’s sake, Stavros, what have you
done to her this time?”
She shakes her head and begins to inspect the ship as Mother’s voice
says

“There is no time to spare. Revengers, get that core to the reactor. There
are many ways into the reactor chamber. Some are more direct but they
are very securely guarded by the autosecurity. If you think you can take
them, I don’t doubt your talents. There is, however another way in. The
vents. It’s up to you whether you want to fight your way in or sneak
your way in.
Follow my directions precisely: Head down the main connection
corridor from the dorm cone to the forbidden cone. Keep an eye out for
autosecurity. They’re constructs made to defend the Wayfarer in case of
boarding. They have all gone rogue and will kill anything they see.
Blame the elves. They’re best avoided. Take the third exit on the left,
then walk 50 feet. There is a vent in the wall. Remove the grating, and
take the chute to the waste compressor. The exhaust from the reactor
was also ported into the same dump. In the ceiling will be the exhaust
chute. Find a way to climb up it and hoist the core up with you. Grendle
will go with you to ensure you affix the core correctly to the reactor
lining. This will be a complicated task (DESIGN A PUZZLE).
I should say, there are more direct ways into the reactor chamber, but
they are very securely guarded by the autosecurity. If you think you can
take them, I don’t doubt your talents. It’s up to you whether you want to
fight your way in or sneak your way in.
 Replacing the core in the reactor. Off-limits parts of the Citadel.
Flooded. Filled with autosecurity constructs, defending the most
arcane depths. Bodies of mages? Harry?
o FALSE HYDRA GESTATION ROOM
 Power up ship. Begins to repair itself. More dropships. Mages rush
down into the lower chambers to witness…
 The birthing ritual, the sect militant.
o Ovram will give his blood, even though it will probably kill
him
o The friendship dagger is a source of Eclectos’ DNA
o Worship (knowledge) being conducted around it
 Sideris is sold, some of the other Seven aren’t so much.
End on demolition of Embassy, Sofia emerging from the ashes, the new
prophet of mother. She makes her bid for queenship. Reveals False
Hydras, their enormous death toll, and how her new faith militant are
saving the kingdom from a threat the old leadership was too blind to see.
Furthermore, she is engaging in a war with Ostriss, and it is all thanks to
the might of a group of heroes. Barry’s Revengers.
Wedding/ascention ceremony in a few weeks? Lluna de Ruah to perform
there
Greta selling moonstone in Godenheim.

- Maybe Greta angry about killing off the spirit of the forest?
- Greta with Capyburas for SURE.
- Nour’s foster parents?
- Secret False Hydra egg room in Citadel? Only reveal when Sofia
has/is about to ascend. Maybe Stavros shows them it.

- Lluna de Ruah ship rescued from the main Dreki fleet, they were
headed to Zemandia but Mother has promised to redeem their
image in the eyes of the people. (She wants the heroic children of
Illornos on her side – descendants of a legendary hero)
