Test 4. Identify the various water resources on Earth

 There are various water resources on Earth such as ground water, surface water
(including lake, river, stream and shallow well), rainwater, and seawater or oceans. Just
2.5% of the Earth's water is freshwater, and most is frozen in glaciers and ice sheets.
About 96% of all liquid freshwater can be found underground.
Test 4.1 Explain how heat from inside the Earth (geothermal) is tapped as a
source of energy for human use.
 The heat of the Earth's molten interior generates geothermal energy. When water is
injected deep underground and returns as steam (or hot water that is later transformed to
steam) to drive a turbine on an electric power generator, this energy is captured to
generate electricity.
