 A JOURNEY FROM INTERN TO MANAGER
Meet Khisi Armaya Dhora from University of Indonesia
During my internship, I gained hands-on experience in terms of commitment,
importance, and quality of work that DDTC required of me. Frankly speaking,
prior to joining DDTC Executive Internship Program, I lacked tax knowledge,
analysis abilities, and academic writing skills. Nonetheless, I was assigned to
numerous different tasks and managed to learn new things.

First of all, the internship helped me develop my analytical and interpersonal

skills, two important issues in the consultancy area. DDTC provided me with the
opportunity to obtain a tax-related overview, in particular, litigation and
compliance issues and compliance
experience in various tasks such as: reviewing tax company matters, drafting
objection letters, analyzing clients’ tax problems, and working in a team. Furthermore, thanks to the
work habit that DDTC taught me, I finally comprehend how I can handle the workload with my ability.
Moreover, the assignments gave me the ability to manage my time on work and my then unfinished
thesis. My colleagues’ help and support enabled me to complete my duties and thesis otime.

In addition, by joining DDTC Executive Internship Program, I was able to meet various clients from
various types of businesses with various tax problems. This led me to test myself and the application
of my personal and academic capacities and knowledge, which I did not find in college or tax books.

The internship taught me that theory alone without practice cannot prepare you to succeed in life.
Practical application is highly essential, particularly for a student to experience what he or she has
studied. In a way, this internship opens several doors to your future. You will have the time and
opportunity to contemplate on your classroom activities. In conclusion, participating in a 3-month
internship program will prepare you for your future career

one and a half (1,5) months before the internship program starts. On a side note, this program
is prioritized for students from campuses/universities that have collaborated (signed an MoU)
with DDTC.

All participants will obtain a certificate stating that they have passed DDTC Executive Internship
Program.
