When I was studying in the club for the first time, I was accidentally selected as the team leader
because of my outgoing and lively nature. My duty is to study with 13 students from different classes
and unknown students in small groups. The specific thing to do is to collect materials, charge fees,
notices, organize group members to conduct group discussions and after-school learning, etc. This
arrangement really keeps me busy. At that time, I didn't have any leadership experience, but I really
couldn't help it. I could only serve as a team leader, not only for my own good but also for the members
of the same team to complete tasks. I believe I should be able to do better. But after a long time, it
gradually became handy. First, I define myself as a relationship-oriented leader. I use a gentle attitude
in communication, listen to the opinions of others, care about others more, and resolve different
opinions among members so that the task can be completed smoothly. But at first, I questioned
whether I could keep the original work, but in the end, I completed the work of the group leader
responsibly. Everyone successfully completed the task, and there are some good memories.

I think the challenge may come from within the team. This is also a challenge that may be encountered
in schools. This challenge is of great significance to me. This is also a good opportunity for any
obstacles I encountered and what I learned from experience.

And the step I take to eliminate the challenge is to work hard to learn knowledge in other fields to
improve my cognitive level. Look away from what you know. It is precise because of the limited types of
tools that will create the situation at hand. I believe there is more than one solution. You can increase
the tools in your toolbox by reading related books or chatting with people who have solved similar
problems. As time accumulates, there are more and more effective tools in our toolbox, and those
problems that may have made us difficult in the past have a high probability of being solved.

I was facing challenges. These are all important courses in the philosophy of life, with the support of
others or my experience in dealing with things alone. This will be a very positive help to my studies, and
I am currently working hard to deal with the challenges that affect different aspects of my life.
Teamwork is a bit like one thing. Among them, teammates are very important. When I don't have any
teammate's support, I will not be very successful in everything I do.

I once participated as a volunteer in the exam venue in Taiwan, responsible for supervising and guiding
the traffic to maintain smoothness. There are also documents and daily activity logs needed to
complete the event. Also served as a school recycling volunteer. The main task is to sort recyclable
materials into appropriate containers and separate metal, glass, paper, or plastic. Clean and organize
the recycling area, remove debris to reduce the risk and maintain an orderly space. Sweep and collect
debris from around the recycling yard to reduce potential safety hazards.

During my study in Canada, I participated in the student union, was responsible for the layout of the
event venue, and provided advice in the meeting. In addition, he also participated in the Green Team,
mainly responsible for the cleanup of city streets and rivers. Make the environment cleaner. Recently
also participated in Snow Angel volunteers. Help the disabled and the elderly in the community to clear
the ice and snow outside the house.

Participating in these activities gave me a sense of life. It turned out that helping others and selfless
dedication can also make me feel extremely happy.

Applying to the University of California is a great opportunity to meet partners with similar dreams and
disciplines. It is easy for people with the same goals to motivate and learn from each other. I can meet
many people I have never met in the university. I always look forward to studying hard with them,
writing reports and research together, and participating in many activities together. Become a mutually
supportive partner. So, I hope to join the University of California.

Because some subjects at the University of California are very attractive to me, I am also full of love
and interest in studying in this area. Especially regarding the Department of Science and Engineering.
And I also took my favorite courses in electronics and calculus in Canadian high school and participated
in the study of construction engineering in the course of work experience. Of course, the good weather
and learning environment in California are also the reasons why I chose the University of California. On
the other hand, I used to organize orchestras and study photography with my friends in Taiwan.
California is a mecca for film and music. I always wanted to come to California to realize my dream
because there is so much information to learn.

If I am studying at the University of California, I look forward to applying what I have learned to life or
work, expanding interpersonal relationships, and actively participating in club activities. This is the
strong determination that motivates me to apply for the University of California.
