 SACE must be appr oximately 2500-3000 words inclusive of references/foot not es, in Times New
Roman, 12 font size, 1.5 line spacing and standard margins
 SACEs to be subm itted in a single word file to the r espective turnit in class/assignment created by the
concerned faculty of the subject
 A Maxim um o f 30% similarity index with correct cit ations may be allowed wit h resp ect to the single
file submitted by th e student
 Submissions will not be accepted if the stu dents are resorting to unfair/unet hical practices
 S tudents shall kee p saved full Turnitin Report of their assignments for future course of action
 After s ubmission of ass ignment, the SACE Viva Voce w ill be scheduled by the concerned faculty and
the same should b e informed to the students in advance. Vi va-voce shall be conduct ed for 15 marks
(Timeline 6th – 14th De cembe r 2021)

SACE-I
1. The private sector b anks play a vital role in the Indian economy. They indirectly motivate the
public sector banks by off ering a healthy competition. As part of reforms process in the
financ ial services sector, the R.B.I. issued guidelines for licens ing of new banks in the private
sector. T he first Narasimham Committee on F inanc ial System made the recommendations to
liberalise the policies towards foreign banks to open offices in India but, they must adhere to
the statutory requirements of Reserve Bank. However, the constutional obligations vide
Art icle 38 and Artic le 39 pose a difficult question as to w hether the Indian Baking industry is
moving toward progression or not. Analyse the said view of Privatisation of Banks with
respect to law laid down by Hidayatullah J. in case of Muir M ills Ltd V. Suti Mill Mazdoor
