BHARATANATYAM
BHA-RA-THA means a bountiful blend of emotion, melody and
rhythm.

Bharatanatyam is a very popular dance form of India. It is the


oldest of the entire classical dance. It is the dance of mind and soul.

It is extremely traditional and known for its grace and purity. In


ancient times it was the mode of worship in temples offering music
as “Geetham Avadhaarya” and Dance as “Nrityam Avadhaarya” to
the god.

Guru Smt. Tina Aditi

Smt. Tina daughter of Shri. Raja and Smt. Sabitha had an immense
interest in dance and began to explore the talent in dance at the age
of Five.

She was first introduced to the world of dance by a dedicated dance


couple Smt. Savitha Arun and Late Vidwan Shri U K Arun at Arun
Kalavidaru. Later she had a good fortune of being trained under the
guidance of Vidushi Smt. Nirmala Jagadeesh at Parvathi Nrithya
Vihangama.

Tina acquired exceptional proficiency in Bharatanatyam and has


successfully completed her Bharatanatyam examination conducted
by KSEEB (Karnataka Govt.) and Akhila Bharatiya Maha Vidyalaya,
Mumbai.

She gained her academic qualification in Vidwat in Bharatanatyam


which made her Vidushi Tina Aditi.

Her Husband Shri. Manu has been very supportive to her. Both
together have their own dance institution with a great deal of
encouragement from their parents.

Smt. Tina has a credit of having participated in the ‘Parampara’ the


biggest Dance festival of India with the legendary artists like Mrs
Vaijayanthi kashi and Mr Nirupama ravishankar.

These experiences formed her specialised choreographer in both


Dance Items and Dance Dramas.

She meticulously grooms her young wards and ensures that they
master the nuances of their great art forms to emerge as successful
Dancers.

She prepares her students for the academic dance examinations


such as Junior, Senior, vidwat
conducted by the State Board Karnataka
and Gandharva Examinations
conducted by Mumbai Board.

She is not only well regarded dancer


but a dedicated Teacher, Guide, Well
Wisher and a Friend to the students
who come to her seeking proficiency in
their enchanting art form.
NATYA MAYURI
Natya Mayuri is a traditional school of learning Dance and Music.
Started in the year 2012
Though the main focus is on teaching traditional style and preparing
the students for academic examinations in Bharatanatyam, also
encourages contemporary, folk and other semi classical dances.
Presently around 70 students are learning under Vidushi Smt. Tina
Aditi at Natya Mayuri, The Temple of Learning Art.
The dance school is the dream child of Tina and has its own name and
accountability in presenting Dance, Dramas and Ballets.
Branches operate at Royal Legend apartments, salapuria Greenage
Bommanahalli and Happy Kids at Balaji Layout.
