TASK 2:
The National Army BOMB squad had examined what it thought was a suspicious
device in part of Wicklow Park, outside London, on Thursday. An incident
involving a bomb threat near the pond of Wicklow Park has ended, as Defense
Forces confirm it was a hoax call-out. Part of Wicklow Park and the surrounding
roads were closed off by the police and a remote bomb disposal robot was
deployed to detect the bomb.
“The police along with the Defence Forces Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit
examined a suspicious package near the pond and it later established there was no
threat.” Said Major Tim Attwood, head of the Army Bomb squad.
