Introduction:-
(Energy is neither created nor destroyed, nor does it exist from
nothing, but it can be converted from one form to another).

The global production of plastic is increasing every year. In 1950 the

amount of plastic was about 2 million tons until it rose in 2015 to 381
million tons, with a growth rate of 8.4% annually. Production continues to
rise at this rate and the random disposal of plastic waste is expected to reach
12 billion tons by 2050. (PW) seeps into ecosystem, including soil and air,
and eventually reaches the human body. In 2017 study by the University of
Minnesota showed that 83% of water samples taken from taps in 8 regions
around the world are contaminated with (PW). Plastics are a source of trace
gases that affect the climate changes and are expected to increase with the
increase in plastic production and accumulate in the environment. The
process of burning plastic bags pollutes the air with the following gases:
(Formaldehyde – benzaldehyde - hydrogen cyanide - ammonia - CO-CO2-
NO2-NO3- and some volatile hydrocarbons and fluorinated gases). We find
that each of (CO2-NO2-NO3 -CH4). It is the main cause of global warming,
they are confined to the Earth's atmosphere and with their accumulation, and
they increase the Earth's temperature. These gases remain for long periods,
causing a cover over the Earth. These gases threaten the survival of lives on
our planet if left unchecked .The only solution to this problem is to actually
get rid of (PW) and clean up the natural resources. We can conversion of
plastic waste into valuable products using low cost catalysts, such as diesel
It is the petroleum cut produced by fractional distillation at a temperature of
(200-350) C at 1 atm, producing carbon chains between (9-25) carbon atoms
per molecule It is also possible to extract biofuels similar to diesel in
biomass by a method called biomass liquefaction. Diesel extracted from
petroleum is known as petroleum diesel or petro diesel and the product from
biomass or west row materials is called biodiesel

Objectives:-
1- Actual riddance from plastic waste.
2- Solve problem of diesel shortage in Sudan.
3- Production pure carbon.
4- Production alcohol and cooking gas.
5- To find income source for poor families and employing idles.

Table of results of diesel production from plastic raw material
compare with KRC Stander.

- One kilo of plastic raw material produces one liter of diesel.

- The total of pure carbon and gases will need further analysis.
