Banning of using cellphones in school

Allowing cellphones to school would be equivalent to giving an open invitation to

distraction. This is because with so many activities in a single gadget, students are bound
to be tempted to indulged in them, hence deviating from The main objective of coming to
school. Many schools limit or restrict the use of mobile phones. However, there are
students who ignore the rules and continue to bring along their mobile phones to school
despite The restriction. In my opinion, mobile phones should not be allowed in schools.
What are the factors then?

First, cellphones is the main cause of distraction in class. During a lesson, students
who use cellphones in class Will get distracted, and also,if they get bored they waste their
times in social medias, play games, watching vedios or do activities that distract their
attention from studying or understanding their lesson. Consequently, they Will receive a
low grade and get failure. Not only students who use their cellphones will get distracted,
but also the rest students in class Will be influenced by students who use cellphones in
class. Some students annoy other students by watching videos, chatting, and playing
games. They will use their leisure time by that nonsense entertainment in cellphones.
Another factor that can cause distraction in class is its ringtone. When a cellphone rings
during a lesson, it usually interrupts teachers ideas and makes him/her upset, and also
waste part of class time. Using cellphone in class is not an appropriate concept and also it
decreases the learning capacity for students.

Another reason why cellphone should not be allowed in school is that, it makes the
students lazy. Instead of writing or copying on what is written the board the students will
just took a picture on it, for them to be easier. Another example is when a teacher gives
activity or assignment. The students will not use their ability to understand or think on
what it is all about, they will just google it by using cellphones. Yes, cellphones makes
the student's life easier, but it makes them more lazy.

In a nutshell, students must not be allowed to use cellphones in the school. The
disadvantages of allowing them in schools far outweighs the advantages. It is the
student's responsibility to study hard and be attentive when the teacher is teaching.
Students should aim for good results in examination so as better prepare themeselves for
their future. Since mobile phones prevent them from doing so and distracts them when
they are in class, I do not agree that mobile phones should be allowed in schools.
