MESSAGE FROM THE COURSE DIRECTOR

A person may be competent enough in his job but, if he is not safety conscious, he is
certainly a potential menace to himself as well as to the team members of his own
organization.

While waving aside all established necessary safety systems & procedures, normally people
think nothing can happen to me until it happens.

However, the considerable awareness in the matter of Health, Safety & Environmental
Protections is being observed for the last 4-5 years in Industrial Establishments as well as
Construction Industries, all over the country which is really appreciable. This could be
possible because of the active involvement of the leadership of such organizations only.

Further, I would like to mention that day by day it is being extremely difficult to recruit the
professionals having desired knowledge, exposure & expertise in the field of
Environmental, Health & Safety Management due to very wide gap between supply and
demand all over the country particularly in the recent 3-4 year periods.

In view of above, IIEHSM which is being managed by EHS Professionals, has come
forward & taken initiatives to develop EHS professionals in accordance with the
requirement of the demand in presence scenario to create healthy, safe, supportive working
environments at the various organizations allover the country as well as at abroad too.

ADMISSION:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION:

Age as on date of registration: 18 years. No upper age limit

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

Candidates are advised to go through the application form and brochure carefully
and then fill up the Enrollment Form. The filled up Application Form should be
sent to the Institute along with required fee.

On receipt of the filled up Application Form, the Institute scrutinizes the same.
The students who fulfill the admission criteria will only be admitted.

The following materials will be dispatched to the students after admission.

(i) Admission intimation.
(ii) Relevant study materials and
(iii) Model question papers.(iv) Answer Sheet

REGISTRATION NUMBER:

Registration number will be allotted to the students on admission. Students are

compulsory advised to mention their Registration Number in all correspondence.
Letter received without Registration Number will not be entertained.

CHANGE OF ADDRESS:

Students are advised to intimate the Institute, in case of change of address, mentioning thier
registration number.

MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION :

The medium of instruction will be English/Hindi. However for Post Diploma

Course medium of instruction will be English only.

The decision of the Institute in all pertaining to the conduct of these courses will be final
and binding on all students. The rules and regulations governing these courses including the
syllabus, and Examination Schedules likely to be modified by Academic Council at their
discretion, whenever necessary. All disputes subject to jurisdiction of court in Delhi only.

A candidate is required to clear the examination in the 1st attempt. However, in case of
unsuccessful case, he will be provided opportunity to clear the examination in 2 more
attempts but within a period of 12 months only from the month of Admission. The
examination shall be held every month and the candidate may appear in accordance with his
convenience. The examination fee is Rs. 200/-(Rupees two hundred only) for each paper,
every time in such cases and need to be deposited to the Institute by Bank Demand Draft in
favor of Indian Institute of Environment, Health & Safety Management or 'IIEHSM' payable
at New Delhi.

There is no provision to refund the fees once deposited, However, the amount may be
adjusted for the same candidate in accordance with circumstances as mentioned above.

If a candidate is unable to complete the course within 1 years from the date of admission, a
lump sum fee of Rs. 500/- is to be paid to revive the expired enrollment.

There is no provision for revaluation of papers in case of unsuccessful cases. However, re-
totaling of specific papers can be done with in a period of 12 months only from the date of
enrollment, for which the candidate has to pay a fee of Rs.I00/- per paper. For International
Candidates US$ 50 per paper.

Submission of Application Form: The Application may be downloaded from our website i.e.
www.iiehsm.in.

The form duly filled in may be sent through e mail i.e. iiehsm@gmail.com along with mark
sheet/certificate in support of qualification.

Scanned passport size photograph (Colored) is also required to be sent.

The above documents may be submitted either by postal mail or by courier service or through
internet as convenient.

The Course materials, Question papers, Answer sheet and receipt of fees is sent through Postal
mail or courier service, immediately after the admission.

The answer sheet is required to be written at your residence and submitted within the course
duration preferably about 15 days before the completion date, either personally or through mail
to the Institute.

The admission remains open every month and completes after the 12th month for Advance PG
Diploma/ PG Diploma /One year Diploma and after the 6th month for 6th month Diploma.

The Certificate courses are designed for 12 month/ 6ix month and 3 month duration according to
the requirement.

AWARDING CERTIFICATE :

The Certificate and Mark Sheet can be collected personally from the Institute or the same
may be sent through Mail at your address.

Scanned copy of the result may be sent through e mail in case of requirement, Please contact
