ACTIVITY COMPLETION REPORT

Name of Activity : Virtual Capability Building on the Implementation of the Career

Guidance Program

Date : March 15, 2021

Venue : Virtual

Participants : District In-Charge, School Heads of Secondary Schools, Assistant

Principals, Grade 11 & 12 Teachers, Career Advocates, Guidance

Counselor-Designates

Objectives:

1. Discuss the history of Career Guidance Program in the context of Filipino learners;

2. Strengthen the knowledge and understanding on the guidelines and procedures for

the implementation of the Career Guidance Program for school year 2020-2021;

3. Orient the concerned participants on the utilization of the Senior High School

Learning Plan, and;

4. Enhance the knowledge and skills of the Guidance Counselors/Designates/Advocates

on the effective delivery of the instructional strategies in the utilization of the

Multiple Career Development Pathways Toolkit.

Highlights of the Activity:

 The web-based training was held last March 15, 2021, and this was participated by 88

Senior High School Guidance Advocates, School Heads, District In-Charge and the

Division Coordinator.
  After the Preliminaries, Sir Jesus Esteban S. Lapada, EPS-ESP, talked on the Rationale

of DM-OUCI-2021-0015, and all other the underlying reasons and other important

details on the conduct of the activity.

 Next, participants were acquainted on how to Start a Career Planning Journey as

Ma’am Leny Damgo of Maypangdan NHS discussed the topic.

 After which, Sir Gerome Afable of Benowangan NHS presented in details the

Guidelines and procedures on the Implementation of Career Guidance Program for

SY 2020-2021.

 Grade 11 Career Guidance Learning Activity Plan by Ma’am Ma. Vilma Tajo of Sta. Fe

NHS was deliberately discussed right after the presentation of the Guidelines.

 To continue the activity, Ma’am Sharon Sumagang of Calingatngan NHS thoroughly

discussed right after the lunchbreak the Grade 12 CAREER Guidance Learning Activity

Plan.

 After which, Multiple Career Development Pathways (MCDP) Toolkit was presented

and discussed by Ma’am Maria Luisa Manlapaz of SFEAMNHS.

 Discussion on School Career Guidance Implementation Report by Ma’am Virginia

Alain of Lalawigan NHS followed.

 To end the activity of the day, Ma’am Estephen Joy Ecle informatively delivered the

Division/Region Career Guidance Implementation Report.

Results/Outputs

Participants were well-informed on the Guidelines and Procedures on the Implementation of

Career Guidance Program School Year 2020-2021 as well as on other matters regarding on

the implantation of this program, individual plan/map on the implementation.
