This case study shows that imtiaz supermarket is facing following challenges :-

• Having poor organization of the stock definitely affecting their decision making.
• Imtiaz supermarket required a new and good it system which would help them to manage retail
activities.
• They have a poor record of transactions and inventory.
• They have such a poor positioning of the stock which would not satisfy the customers.
• Their warehouses have more material as compared to the their capacity which leads to poor
control.

Answer :-
Yes, these challenges have a very negative impact on the customer satisfaction when they will
not find things on their specific place. Customer wouldn’t come again to shop and neither
recommend imtiaz supermarket for shopping.

If a customer is looking for the chocolates he should find chocolates on the chocolates section
not in the grocery store. Proper categories is very important for a perfect store.

Staff should be well trained so that they can solve any sort of confusion or any query by the
customers.

• Imtiaz supermarket need to have a proper arrangement in their warehouses. They need to build
warehouses according to their requirement so nothing should go overburdened. They need to
have a well trained staff so they can manage things easily without being panic.
• They should introduce new and a very good It system which would register every single
transaction perfectly.
• Their should be no communication barriers. Staff need to communicate immediately anything
goes wrong.
• They should have different categories for different items so that customers can easily find them.
• If any of their customers dissatisfied they need to give some sort of discount or any gift or
apology letter to the customer so they can put positive impact.
• Need to have a complain box in the exit of the Imtiaz supermarket that’s how they would come
to know what difficulties customers are facing so they can fix.

• Having huge warehouses would help them to keep all the items and nothing will go
overburdened or short.
• A new IT system will help them to manage each and every thing in the store any kind of
transaction would be known by the owner. A proper check and balance in every item.
• A trained staff will satisfy their customers if they face any sort of difficulty.
• Categories plays a very vital role for them because customers would find their desirable product
on right place that’s how they would save their time without being confused.
• A complain box on the exit will acknowledge them about the actual problem faced by the
customers then they will be able to fix immediately.
• By satisfying customers they would come again and also they would recommend imtiaz
supermarket.
