Learner-centered approach means that the learner or student is responsible for

learning while the teacher is responsible for facilitating the learning. The teacher will
act as a facilitator, helping the learners to learn and work on their own and makes the
students more responsible for their own learning process. The teacher is helping their
students to become independent, giving them opportunity to learn individually or by
groups.

Teachers as facilitators must adapt to a new way of teaching by managing
more open ended discovery by the learners. Teacher needs to facilitate
the learning process of the students to do the work. Encouraging the
learners to apply the knowledge that their acquired in their everyday life.
The teacher needs to supervise the students, see what they need, provide
learning materials that they can work on individually or by group and
interfere only when required.
2. Provide anytime, anywhere and on demand support
Teachers also have to make themselves available to learners anytime and
