Scene 1: Composition or Direct Combination (Synthesis)

(LAURIE NARRATING)

Let's start from the beginning. A man, a handsome man to be precise, was born. A quick flashback, I was born human,
but my mother was a witch, a powerful witch. She loved us dearly and wanted us to live forever. She made a spell that
turned us into a vampire, yes, that vampire, a human bloodsucker. I know, don't be terrified.

(record scratch)

(REAL NARRATOR )

No, No, No! Not that beginning. This beginning. The beginning of the love journey of the hybrid, Laurie Mickelson. Yes,
you heard it right, a half-vampire and half werewolf.

(LAURIE DAYDREAMING)

When I saw you, my world stopped. I can't describe it, but I feel like I'm supposed to be with you. Destiny, they say. And
I agree. Your smile melts my heart. Ohh! My love, I love you. (HE STOPPED TALKING FOR A BIT). Let me show you when I
first saw her.

(FLASHBACK) (AT A FANCY BALL)

(LAURIE NARRATING)

(Jo Forbes just entered the ballroom. Looking stunning, by the way. A slow and romantic-like song was blaring. She is
smiling, of course. Okay, okay, here's how it went.)

LAURIE: Hey, what's your name?

JO: I'm Jo, Jo Forbes. I'm not going to ask you yours because I already know you. Laurie right?

LAURIE: (smiled)

JO: Aren't you going to ask me to dance?

LAURIE: Ohh, right. Of course, I will. Will you dance with me, miss Forbes?

JO: Sure.

(LAURIE NARRATING)

It was one of the best nights of my life. Seeing her dancing with me, I couldn't even believe what I was seeing. It didn't
felt real, but it was. So, Past forward to a couple of weeks or maybe even months later. It all went great. We were
laughing, hugging, and.

(REAL NARRATOR)

Okay, we don't have to dive into those details.

(LAURIE NARRATING)

And it was time for me to confront her. It was time for me to spill the beans on what I am. Mind this. I'm going to ask her
after I reveal myself. And here's how it went.
(LAURIE WALKING JO HOME)

LAURIE: I have to tell you something.

JO: I have to tell you something too. Can I go first?

LAURIE: Ohh! Okay sure.

JO: I have loved you since you first held my hand at that ball. And I don't want that to end. Because, Well, I love you so
much, Mr. Laurie Mickelson. (kissed him on the cheek). So what did you want to say?

LAURIE: Hmm, I don't think that I can say it. But, here's what I'm going to say, Will you be my girlfriend? And possibly my
wife? Soon?

JO: Of course. Yes, I want to be your girlfriend.

(LAURIE NARRATING)

I know, I hesitated. Instead of me revealing my secret, I just froze.

Scene 2: Decomposition Reaction

(REAL NARRATOR)

All went well after Laurie asked Jo to be his girlfriend. After months into dating. Laurie felt that he must reveal himself
soon because he didn't want to lie to Jo anymore. He was a ripper before, but starting when he met Jo, he changed.

(ON THEIR 4TH?, OR MAYBE 5TH?, 6TH DATE? I MEAN WHOSE EVEN COUNTING)

LAURIE: Hey, you look so beautiful.

JO: Aww. Thank you, love.

LAURIE: I have been attempting to say this for months now, but I can't seem to find my words and courage to say it. But
here it goes. I'm a vampire. An original vampire, to be exact. My mother made a spell that made us who we are. My
other five siblings and I are all vampires, except I'm both a vampire and a werewolf. It’s unbelievable, I know.

JO: (speechless).

LAURIE: Please say something because I can't stand you being so silent. I'm sorry for bringing this up so late.

JO: I, I, I can't even process this. I know that you seem different from the others, but a VA-vamp what? You? Vampire?
Ohh my gosh.

LAURIE: I know it's hard to process. And I'm sorry.

JO: I love you, but I think that I will need a lot of time to process this.

LAURIE: Please, stay. Know that I love you. And I will never hurt you.

JO: I think that you just did.

(REAL NARRATOR)

And just like that, their beautiful relationship just ended. A Year passed, and Laurie turned off his humanity, and he
became his true self again. A ripper, from person to person, he ripped their head and hearts out. He sucked every drop
of blood of his victim.

(IN A RANDOM BAR)

He killed everyone inside.

(IN A RANDOM HOTEL ROOM)

He showed no mercy.
(IN A RANDOM WEDDING)

He ripped all the heads of all the guests. He reserved the bride for last. He made the bride watch the groom while he
was killing him. And he then compelled the bride to go with him for a little drink at a bar then he ended up killing the
bride too.

LAURIE: Hi, love! (compelling the bride), Forget your wedding and come with me.

BRIDE: (he followed him)

Scene 3: Single Replacement Reaction

(REAL NARRATOR)

He compelled girls to be with him so that he wouldn't feel the loneliness he was feeling. He tried and tried to remove Jo
out of his mind, but it was so difficult for him. But one day, he found out that he got someone pregnant. And there his
humanity turned back on.

(LAURIE NARRATING)

I know its crazy to think that I got someone pregnant because a vampire can't procreate. My theory is since I'm a hybrid,
my werewolf side can bread, but my vampire side can't.

(REAL NARRATOR)

Here's where Amy Marshall comes in. A beautiful werewolf. She's even the leader of her pack. And yes, she's the one
who is pregnant.

(AT LAURIE'S HOUSE)

AMY: Laurie! Laurie! We need to talk, like right now.

LAURIE: Who are you?

AMY: Don't "who are you me!" I'm pregnant!

LAURIE: Whoah! No! I can't. I'm a vampire, remember?

AMY: I know that you are a vampire and a WEREWOLF too.

LAURIE: Are you sure that I am the one who got you pregnant?

AMY: Yes, Laurie. Other creatures are hunting me down because they said that this child that I'm carrying is a curse.

LAURIE: No! I will protect you at all costs. We are going to have that child. I will kill every creature that will come and
threaten your life. I tell you that! Now pack all of your bags and come live with me here at the house so that I can
protect you all the time.

AMY: Okay, Thank you for accepting it.

LAURIE: I'm going to be a father!!!

Scene 4: Double Replacement reaction

(REAL NARRATOR)

Months passed by, and suddenly Laurie and Jo's path crossed. They were awkward at first, but Jo mentioned to Laurie
that she is having a wedding later that weekend, and Laurie received an invitation. Here's how the conversation went.
JO: I hear that a baby is coming your way? Is that true?

LAURIE: Yes, It's true. I'm here at Mystic Fall to invite my long time friends because Amy and I are having a baby shower
for our soon to be, child.

JO: Speaking of invitation, I want you to be at my wedding this weekend. Oh, I'm marrying John.

LAURIE: Thank you for the invitation. Is he nice to you? Treating you the absolute best?

JO: Yeah! I'm happy with him.

LAURIE: That's good. My wish has come true then.

JO: Wish?

LAURIE: After things between us got complicated, I always wish for you to find a man that wouldn't lie on your face. And
will treat you better than I did. And I'm happy for you.

JO: Thank you. Okay, I'm going to head out now. Good luck. Thank you for everything, My Laurie.

LAURIE: (smile and nod)

(REAL NARRATOR)

Laurie didn't attend Jo's wedding, but instead, he sent a beautiful bouquet and a goodbye and thank you letter.

(REAL NARRATOR)

FIVE years later. Laurie is happy with his family, where Amy is a great mom to a four-year-old healthy and beautiful Hope
Mickelson. Fun fact, Hope is a tribrid. Since her father is a hybrid, her mother is a werewolf, and her grandmother was a
powerful witch. So I know, as crazy as this sound, She's a tribrid. Jo, on the other hand, is happy with her husband, and
her kids.
