I want you to close your eyes

Picture an engineer

What do you see?

Do you see a guy in a Do you see a train Do you see a nerd
computer? driver? guy or like Mark
Zuckerburg ?

Or do you picture a girl? No, I think not

Usually when I tell people I'm an engineer, They look at me and they say,
"Ha! No, really, what do you do?" or "Oh, whoa, you must be some kind of
a genius" or my favorite is when I told my mother I wanted to major in
engineering she said "eww, why?"

 So why does this matter?

So what? let's just have the men do

 Engineers made a lot of break through

With half of the population are female, we deserve to have

a female perspective.
Society thinks engineering is a
boys club and girls doesn't fit in
According to the study, they tested
boys and girls around 65 countries
around the world on science test. The
result was girls out-performed the boys.
The study suggest that it is not a
biological thing but a cultural thing
This is our society

We grew up where boy toys are only

for boys and girl toys are only for girls.

 Engineering are for everyone not only boys but for girls too

Parents don't teach your children what to play and don't limit their learnings
let them play whatever they want.

Girls don't let society define you, you can be whatever you want

You can do whatever you want, if you want to be an engineer, just do it!!!
