Visual Sense
A. Describe the various elements of eye
Cornea – it is located on the outer part of the eye. It provides protection and his job
is to focus the light rays on the retina.
Pupil- it is the blacked circular area of the eyes. It controls the amount of light
reaching the retina.
Iris – the colored part of the eye. It controls the size of the pupil.
Retina – a membrane on the inner eye that converts light rays to electrical signal
before sending it to the brain.

B. Describe the process that the eye is going through to perform the receipt of
the image
Vision is as much dependent on the brain as it is on the eyes. The pattern of
light was received by the eyes. Afterwards, they send those patterns to your brain,
which converts them into images. Light rays reflect off an object that you are
looking at. The object is reflected to your eyes by these light rays. The light then
enters the outer part of your eye, specifically the cornea. Cornea is the one who
focuses light rays on the retina to makes things look sharp and clear. Next, the light
rays pass through the pupil. The pupil is black in the center of the eye, it is an
opening which the light pass through. The pupil is surrounded by the iris, which is
the colored part of the eye. It regulates how much light enters the eye by changing
the size of the pupil. When the lens, cornea, pupil and iris is working together, they
can light on the back of the eye, the retina. This retina received lights and turn it
into electrical signals, and those signal sends to the brain to process. The brain is
the one who sum up the received data and give more details to your vision.
