Title : Implementation of Rake Receiver Using MRC.

Project Description:
This project presents a study on RAKE RECEIVER, which is used to mitigate the effects of multipath
propagation. The simulation of RAKE receiver is done using MATLAB software, which is used to
counter the effects of multipath propagation. RAKE receiver is used in CDMA based (Code division
multiple access) systems and can combine multipath components, which are time-delayed versions of
original signal transmission. Combining is done in order to improve the signal-to-noise ratio at the
receiver. RAKE receiver attempts to collect the time-shifted versions of the original signal by providing a
separate correlation receiver for each of multipath signals. This can be done due to multipath components
which are practically uncorrelated from one another when their relative propagation delay exceeds a chip
period.

Project Description:
Most of the current email systems focus on the protection of email letters by using different cryptographic
standards. And with the adoption of cloud computing securing the email services have become a growing
concern. Everyone now has an email account but with cloud based email it is that one does not have
knowledge of where in the world your emails and sensitive data are stored. Cloud computing is a model
for enabling ubiquitous, convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable
computing resources (e.g ,networks, servers, storage, applications, and services) that can be rapidly
provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction. Amazon
Workmail is one of the secure, managed business email and calendar services with support for existing
desktop and mobile email clients. Amazon Workmail gives users the ability to seamlessly access their
email, contacts, and calendars using their web browser through a secure active directory with the help of
LDAP and IAM which provides a role based access control.
