II. Short Question and answers:

1. What is Tahara and how can we get Tahara for our


bodies ?
A. Tahara means cleanliness or Purity.
For our bodies to have Tahara we have to do one of
the following acts
1. Wudu
2. Ghusl
3. Tayammum.
2. Explain how does Istinja works.
A. Istinja means the Islamic rules of cleaning ourselves
after visiting the toilet.
1. After we use toilet we should wash our private
parts and behind with water.
2. You must use left hand for cleaning.
3. If water is not available then use clean dry rocks
or tissue.
4. Before you leave the washroom wash your hands
with soap.

3.What is Najasa explain with examples.


A. Najasa word means dirtiness or filthiness. It can be on
our bodies , surrounding or our clothes.
Examples are
1. All blood
2. Vomit, urine and excrement of humans and animals
3. Alcoholic drinks, dead animals, saliva of dogs,
anything from pig.
4. What are the different types of water

A. We have to use clean and pure water for Tahara.


There are three types of water.
1. Mutlaq water : Water from river, taps, well etc
which is clean and clear. This water should be
used to clean najis.
2. Mustamal water: this water has changed it colour
and taste or smell. It is fit for drinking but not
cleaning. Like coffee, tea.
3. Mutanajis water: this water has changed it smell
and colour by something Najis, whether small or
large amount. This cannot be used to clean Najis.

5. Write the steps of Ghusl


A. 1. We have to make intention or Niyyah for Ghusl
2. Wash off the any Najis on our body.
3. Make Wudu
4. Pour water over our head three times
5. Pour water over our heads and bodies three times
starting from right side.
6. Finally wash your feet till ankles three times
