The urinary system of the human body is responsible for cleansing the body and excreting

water and metabolic products. It includes the bladder, kidneys and ureter. When various
germs and infections enter this system, they can cause infectious diseases.Getting an
infection in the body: Women are more prone to this kind of infectious disease. This is due
to the physiological structure of the female body. The susceptibility of women to infection
is due to a shorter and wider urethra. This increases the risk of germs and inflammation,
especially given the fact that often the causative agent of cystitis or pyelonephritis is
Escherichia coli, which is almost always present on the external genitalia.
The risk of kidney and bladder disease increases during diabetes and pregnancy. Kidney
stones, prostate enlargement can also contribute to the entry of microbes into the urinary
system, as they change the mode of excretion of urine from the body. The disease may go
unnoticed in the elderly, as with age there are similar symptoms associated with aging.
Symptoms
Urinary tract infections do not always cause obvious symptoms. In medical practice there is
an asymptomatic course of the disease, or with mild symptoms. However, one way or
another, a person will still notice discomfort or unpleasant sensations.

The most common symptoms are:Constant urge to urinate Burning when urinating With
frequent urges, little urine is excreted
Blood in the urine - red or bright pink urine
Strong smell of urine

Pelvic pain in women

Pain in the rectum in men
Types of urinary tract infection
There are four types of the most common diseases of the urinary system. Each of them will
have its own characteristics and symptoms.
Urethritis is a bacterium that infects only the urethra.
Cystitis - bacteria that cause bladder disease.
Pyelonephritis is the most serious infection because it leads to kidney disease.

With urethritis, a person will feel a burning sensation during urination because the infection
has entered the canal itself. But with cystitis symptoms will only increase.
Symptoms of cystitis are as follows:
Feeling of pressure in the pelvic organs
Discomfort in the lower abdomen

Frequent, painful urination

Blood in the urine
Pyelonephritis (kidney disease) can show the following symptoms:
Pain in the upper back
High temperature

Fever
Shaking and chills
Nausea
Vomit

All these symptoms indicate kidney disease and the urinary system in general. See a doctor
immediately if these symptoms have been noticed. Because the sooner a person sees a
doctor, the more guarantees there are for a quick and painless recovery. As already
mentioned, pyelonephritis is not considered safer than cystitis, so it is necessary to detect
the disease in time to prevent kidney infection.
