Training Design

Every training program designed by Anantara have desired objectives which are established in the
SMART form. Each and every employee has a specific training up to their training needs according to
their departmental level. Training programs are designed by mainly through computer system of
Anantara and the requirement of employees.

When considering the designing factors of these programs; all the trainings are conducted within the
organization. Employees have to submit their trainings according to the specific timelines and Training
Manager and HODs of each and every department are responsible for this.

Anantara makes its own training programs for their employees. There are several techniques for
conducting such training programs as on the job training, off the job training, E- learning and etc.
Anantara has already allocated LKR 06 Million per annum for these training programs.

Training methods

As above mentioned, all the training programs of Anantara mainly conducted as internally within the
organization under the HR Department and the other departmental levels.

HR Department

When considering the trainings which are offering by the HR department is mainly focusing on the
employees of entire organization. Training Manager is responsible for this and mainly they are offering,

Departmental Level

According to the departmental level trainings, each HOD provides a “Minor Training” for 15 minutes to
their team members every day.

On the Job Training Methods


1. Supervisory Development Training Program

The Supervisory Development Training Program is designed for new frontline supervisors and
more experienced team leaders looking to update their skills with the latest techniques.
2. Job Coach Training Program

Select set of people and give them to ability to train other employees.
3. Quality Leaders Training Program

They focus on opportunities for all individuals to become leaders. They encourage cross-
departmental learning. They offer supporting and challenging on the job training.
4. Sequential training

A particular order in which related things follow each other. The content of the program should
follow a logical sequence.

Off the Job Training Methods


1. Orientation

3 days orientation for all the levels of jobs in the organization and within this training program
they cover following areas, introduction of entire organization, brand values, grooming, uniforms
& accommodations.
2. Job task inventory training

The ask inventory consist of all the tasks that a job holder requires to perform the job to
standards. Employees are train to do the job tasks to meet SOS. (Standard of Operating Service)

E Learning Model
Throughout their virtual campus they provide common program for employees in the
organization who are prefer to follow online courses and get stars to become a champion among
their team. Common programs they provided via online are,

4. Problem Resolution
5. Safety Management

Process of E-learning
Video watching via online answer the questions then certificate will be automatically
issued
To get certificate employees should get more than 80% marks.

New Manager Orientation (NMO)


NMO training program is done via online under the virtual campus. Here they are provided 4
online courses for the SH and above jobs. Throughout the online learning they learn, company
values, vision, mission, introduction of the organization & company history likewise.
Within 7 days, 30 days, 45-60 days, 90 days they should complete 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th courses in
respectively.
