devices that use speech-generating
software to play pre-recorded words or
phrases when the user presses buttons or
keys. They include tablets, laptops, and
other common electronics.

To help people with developmental

difficulties communicate more effectively
Speech-generating technologies can help
qualifying persons communicate their
emotions, personalize their sentiments, and
reclaim their independence.

• Dynavox was created to meet the

needs of those who have physical
and communicative disabilities.
• Tobii Dynavox offers a range of eye-
controlled communication and
computer access solutions that are
helping thousands of people who
have difficulty communicating.
• Tobii is a type of assistive
technology that includes things like
speech generators and eye
trackers.

In the classroom, how does Dynavox
help kids with specific needs?
• Because Dynaox is an eye-controlled communication device, it can provide
personalized communication solutions for those with communication difficulties like
Autism, ALS, cerebral palsy, stroke, or any other ailment that causes speech
impairment. This technology is useful in the classroom since it allows students to alter
their communication with their classmates and teachers.
