PA 215 – Management of Organizational Behaviour

Direction: Read the questions carefully with understanding. Answer in brief but
with substance. (80 points)

QUESTION:

1. Discuss/explain 5 theories/concepts/principles/practices in Organizational

Behaviour which are relevant to your actual work situation. What are these
all about? Why do you consider them relevant to your present work? (20
points)

2. As potential manager or head of your office, what are the principles you will
use to extract performance of your staff to achieve a more improved
organizational output? Discuss your strategies in detail to give more flesh to
your answer (20 points)

3. Cite 5 contradictions/gaps (if there are) from those

theories/concepts/principles you have discussed earlier against actual
practices in your organization. How do they occur in your organization? (20
points)

4. Discuss 4 theories of motivation and explain how are they relevant to your
actual work situation. What are the strengths and short comings/
commentaries of these theories? What forms of motivation practices do you
have in your organization? How do they provide impact to your organization
in terms of performance? (20 points)

Note: Submit a type written final exam (hard copy) together with your compilation
of reports to the Dean’s Office on or before December 11 (Saturday)
morning. If you are outside of Cotabato City and could hardly come for this
purpose, ask somebody e.g. friend to print your examination paper and
submit it to the Dean’s Office. Please attach your examination permit, and
also indicate your mobile number to your examination paper.
