Motivation and Obejectives Results and signals

The concept of Light Fidelity (LiFi) is
currently attracting a great deal of interest, not
least because it offers a genuine and very
efficient alternative to RF. LiFi can be simply
put to be WiFi but instead of radio waves light
is used as a medium. This work presents the
deployment of LiFi in remote health
monitoring using suitable sensors that can help
people by providing healthcare services
remotely such as medical monitoring and data
access. The system would benefit the patients
as the they will no longer be confined to the
hospital bed. The developed system involves a
real time monitoring of temperature remotely
and heart rate. The measured parameters are
sent using the optical communication system
in the visible wavelength region. The goal of
such systems is to provide early warning of
physiological deterioration such that
preventative clinical action may be taken to
improve patient outcomes. The system can be
used for broader range of patients and medical
professionals and those people living in rural
Sugnal obtained form the temperature sensor at the (a) output of the sensor, (b) the
or isolated regions. transmitter output and (c) the receiver.

SYSTEM DIAGRAM Conclusion

The LiFi based remote health monitoring

system performed successfully. Despite the
fact that LiFi is an efficient, fast and cost
effective technology, more research and
development has yet to be done in this area
before we have a flexible solution. Due to
higher demand for high speed data, many
wireless technologies are evolving and
emerging. Li-Fi technology also has huge
potential due to its efficient and cost effective
nature.
