similarities and differences in the job search process in your country and the United
States.

Answer:
People from both the United States and Ukraine look for jobs by using various
Internet resources, which are now the most popular ways to get to know the labor
market. Vacancies from both countries are written in a specific structure, which allows
future employees to fully understand working expectations and conditions. For instance,
the requirements for a Ukrainian employee are written in the same way as for an
American one after the description of the company and position. However, Americans
never post salary, whereas in my country salary is one of the essential criteria for
choosing a job, thus, people even search applications by it. In my opinion, if you know
the future salary in the application, you will waste no one’s time on an interview, after
which it will probably not be convenient to refuse because of the number. Nevertheless,
in this case, people pay little attention to the importance of professional skills, career
growth, and other conditions for personal development in the company, which
eventually can also increase the salary. Therefore, I agree with the skills important in
both countries, such as being primarily a team person with a proactive attitude.

Hi, nice to meet you, I’m Prykhodko Anastasiia. I have recently completed the
Project Management course and I have been in administation for a year. That is why I
am looking for an internship at an IT company. The things I like most about projects are
leading a team, delivering value and getting to try new things before everyone else. I’m
really good at listening and organization, and problem solving is a chance for me to be
creative. What about you? What has been your most difficult situation, where you really
had to adapt?

Directions: Describe a time when you faced a difficulty and what you did to
overcome that challenge.

One year ago I worked as an administator in a private school of foreign

languages. One of the students had worked at a logistics school, which were urgently
going to launch English courses for its students. The woman recommended us to the
school. However, at that time, we had launched advertising on Instagram to attract new
leads. The advertisement was successful, so all of our English teachers were almost
overloaded with work. Of course, we could not refuse the offer to teach corporate
English. We had a perfect candidate for this job, but she combined work with study and
physically did not have time to teach new students. For this reason, I had to devote all
my work time and energy to reorganizing her schedule and allocating 3 hours a week
for the course in 2 days, taking into account that all current students stayed with her and
their schedule remained convenient and efficient.
