set to release his latest tome
“The Book You Should
Read” or Peum Thi Than
Khuan Arn on August 28,
after working on it since late
last year.
Mr Sakxay shared his
experiences with Vientiane
Ti m e s i n w r i t i n g h i s
second book, which has
already generated much
expectation among his
army of admirers.
Sakxay said the book
took about six months to
finish and he put down his
pen in May.
“‘A Lao book, for Lao
people, by a Lao writer, for
all the Lao youth’ - that was
the notion that kept running
in my mind when I decided
to write ‘The Book You
Should Read’,” he said.
It follows the success of
his first book “The Path – 5
Life-Changing Mindsets for
a Happier Life” which was
written in English and sold
more than 500 hard copies
in less than two months in
Singapore and Laos.
As a result, many Lao
fans encouraged Sakxay
to publish a book in Lao
so more local folk can get
exposed to his coaching and
mindset teaching.
At first, he was
hesitant about writing
another book and wanted
to continue learning and
gaining experience, but
after Sakxay’s videos and
blog posts on his Facebook
page ‘Sakxay Seng Aloun’
went viral, he felt the urge
to publish another book
specifically in Lao for the
