The Doa of Surah Al-Kahf
by Al-Habib Abu Bakr Al-Adniy bin Ali Al-Masyhur

O Allah, The Possessor of Majesty and Nobility, The ، ‫ َواﳌ َ َﻮا ِﻫ ِﺐ اﻟ ِﻌ َﻈﺎ ِم‬، ‫اْﻠﻬ ُﻢ َ َذا اﳉ ََﻼلِ َواﻻ ْﻛ َﺮا ِم‬
‫َﺸَ ﺎ ُء ِﻣ ْﻦ ِﻋ َﺒﺎ ِد ِﻩ‬+ ‫ َواﳌ ُ َﻮ ِﻓ ّ ِﻖ َﻣ ْﻦ‬، ‫َو"َﺎ ِﻟ ِﻖ اﳊ ََﻼلِ َواﳊ ََﺮا ِم‬
Bestower of Great Bounties, The One Who Makes
Things Permissible and Forbidden, The One Who
guides whomever He wills from amongst His
servants to the means and paths of religious ‫ ْن‬65 ‫ اْﻠﻬ ُﻢ‬:َ ُ 5;‫ = َ ْﺴ‬، ‫ﺎت ا ِﻻ ﻟْ ِ َﱱا ِم‬ ِ ‫ َﺒ ِﺎب َو ُﻣ‬3‫ ْﺳ‬65 ‫ا َ ٰﱃ‬
ِ 0َ ‫ﻮﺟ‬
commitment. We beseech You O Allah that You cause
us to live upon Islam, die upon faith, and elevate us ‫ﻨَﺎ‬Iَ ّ‫ُ َﺮِﻗ‬K‫ َو‬، ‫َ@َﺎ ?َ َ ٰﲆ اﻻﳝ َ ِﺎن‬E‫ َوﺗُ ِﻤﯿ‬، ‫َ@َﺎ ?َ َ ٰﲆ اﻻ ْﺳ َﻼ ِم‬A‫ُ ْﲢ ِﯿ‬
َ ، ‫ْﳯَ ُ َﻤﺎ ِﰲ َﻣ َﺮاﺗِ ِﺐ اﻻ ْﺣ َﺴ ِﺎن َواﻻﯾ َﻘ ِﺎن َ واﻟ ِﻌ ْﺮﻓَ ِﺎن‬Aَ‫ﺑ‬
between life and death in the stations of spiritual
excellence, certitude and spiritual gnosis. O Most
Generous, O Benefactor. ‫َﻛﺮﱘ  ﻣ@ﺎن‬
ُ َ َ ُ ِ
O Allah, protect us from all misleading tribulations,
cure us from all sicknesses and diseases, forgive us ‫ﰻ‬ّ ِ ُ ‫ و ْاﺷ ِﻔ@َﺎ ِﻣ ْﻦ‬، Tٍ  ‫ َﻨ ٍﺔ ُﻣ ِﻀ‬Wْ ‫ﰻ ِﻓ‬ ّ ِ ُ ‫اْﻠﻬ ُﻢ ْاﺣ َﻔ ْﻈ َﻨﺎ ِﻣ ْﻦ‬
for all our sins and errors, affirm us upon the truth
and the religion, and assign for us reminders and  ُ ‫ َوا ْﻏ ِﻔ ْﺮ ﻟَﻨَﺎ‬، Tٍ  ?ِ ‫َﺳ َﻘ ٍﻢ َو‬
‫ْ@َﺎ ?َ َ ٰﲆ‬E‫ َوﺛَ ِ ّﺒ‬، [ٍ  ‫ﰻ َﻣ ْﻌ ِﺼ َﯿ ٍﺔ َو َز‬
helpers from amongst Your guiding servants.
َ‫ َوا ْﺟ َﻌ ْﻞ ﻟَ َﻨﺎ ُﻣ َﺬ ِﻛّﺮ ًا َو ُﻣ ِﻌﯿﻨًﺎ ِﻣ ْﻦ ِﻋ َﺒﺎ ِدك‬، Tِ  ‫اﳊ ّ َِﻖ َوا ِﳌ‬
[ِ  ‫ ِد‬d5 ‫ا‬
And when You will that Your servants be afflicted by
tribulations, seize us to you without being afflicted, ، ‫ﻮ ِﻧ َﲔ‬Wُ ‫َ ْ َﲑ َﻣ ْﻔ‬f ‫ِﻀْ َﻨﺎ اﻟَ ْﯿ َﻚ‬0‫ َﻨ ًﺔ ﻓَﺎ ْﻗ‬Wْ ‫ َرد َْت ِﺑ ِﻌ َﺒﺎ ِدكَ ِﻓ‬65 ‫َوا َذا‬

misguided or misguiding, by Your Mercy and Grace, O
The Most Merciful of All Who Show Mercy. ‫ ْر َﺣ َﻢ‬65 َ ‫ ِﺑ َﻤ ِﻨّ َﻚ َو َﻛ َﺮ ِﻣ َﻚ‬، ‫ َو َﻻ ُﻣ ِﻀ ِﻠ ّ َﲔ‬، ‫َو ﻻ ﺿَ ﺎ ِﻟ ّ َﲔ‬
ِ‫اﲪﲔ‬ ِ ِ ‫اﻟﺮ‬

O Allah, preserve us by Your favours from the False

Messiah (Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal), and from evil deeds
‫ َو ْﻣﻦ‬، ِ‫ﺎل‬m n ‫ﯿ ِﺦ ا‬3‫ َﻨ ِﺔ اﳌ َ ِﺴ‬Wْ ‫ ِﻣ ْﻦ ِﻓ‬p َ ِ ْ‫اْﻠﻬ ُﻢ اﻋ ِْﺼ ْﻤ َﻨﺎ ِﺑﻔَﻀ‬
and corrupted states, and from frivolous words, and
guide us to what will cause You to be pleased with us
، ِ‫ ْﻗ َﻮال‬d5 ‫ َوﻓُﻀُ ﻮلِ ا‬، ِ‫ ْﺣ َﻮال‬d5 ‫ ْ َﲻﺎلِ َوﻓَ َﺴﺎ ِد ا‬d5 ‫ُﺳﻮ ِء ا‬
in all states. And conclude our lives amicably in
goodness, wellbeing and safety O The Possessor of
َr‫ ْ َﲻ َﺎر‬65 ‫ َواﺧ ِ ْْﱲ‬، ٍ‫ﺎل‬tَ ‫ﰻ‬ ّ ِ ُ ‫ﯿﻚ َﻋﻨﺎ ﰲ‬ َ ‫ُ ْﺮ ِﺿ‬u ‫َ ِﻟ َﻤﺎ‬r‫َوا ْﻫ ِﺪ‬
Majesty. ِ‫ ٍﺔ َو َﺳ َﻼ َﻣ ٍﺔ َ َذا اﳉ ََﻼل‬Iَ ‫ َ ٰﲎ ِﰲ " ْ ٍَﲑ َو?َﺎ ِﻓ‬3‫ﳊُ ْﺴ‬yِ

Peace and blessings be upon our Master and Prophet

Muhammad, his family and his Companions. And all
{ِ ِ | 6 ‫ َو?َ َ ٰﲆ‬، ‫ ّ@َﺎ ُﻣ َﺤ ﻤ ٍﺪ‬Aِ ‫َوﻧ َ ِﺒ‬ َr‫ ِ ّﯿ ِﺪ‬3‫ا~ ?َ َ ٰﲆ َﺳ‬
ُ ّ ٰ ‫َو َﺻ ﲆ‬
praise be to Allah, Lord of The Worlds. ‫ِ ٰ ّ ِ~ َر ِ ّب اﻟ َﻌﺎﻟَ ِﻤ َﲔ‬ ُ‫ َواﳊَ ْﻤﺪ‬، ‫ﲱ ِﺒ ِﻪ َو َﺳ  َﲅ‬ْ َ ‫َو‬
