reasoning in the sense that rational people should derive conclusion in a
consistent way given the information at disposal
 Empathic In Process of personality development person should apply
empathy internally that means “put your self into other persons shoes and think
accordingly” empathy helps to make understand others very well with good long

 Positive Attitude Helps to cope more easily with the daily affairs of life. It brings

 Leadership, a critical management skill, is the ability to motivate a group of people
towards a common goal. These items will help you develop your skill as a leader.
 Motivation is commonly defined as what explains why people or animals
initiate, continue or terminate a certain behavior at a particular time. Motivational
states come in various degrees of strength. The higher the degree, the more likely it
is that the state has an influence on behavior. This is often linked to forces acting
from within the agent that result in goal-directed behavior. One problem with defining
motivation in terms of internal forces is that it is very difficult to measure them, which
is why empirically-minded theorists often prefer definitions that are more closely
linked to observable behavior.

Ques 4. Define Perception, Emotional Intelligence and its impact in one’s Personal and
Professional Life. (PASS)
ANS:
 Perception
Perception is an intellectual process where an individual organizes and
intercepts his sensory impressions to give meaning to the environment.
A perceptive person is informed, appraised, aware, sharp and
observant. Perception uses all the five senses of Sight, Sound, Touch,
Taste and Smell to create images which produce behaviours. While
Perception is an intellectual process or mind-game, the results

triggers thoughts, emotion and actions. Positive Perception create
positive thoughts and action while negative Perception create action

Ans. Time Management is the act or process of planning and exercising conscious control over the
amount of time spent on specific activities, especially to increase effectiveness, efficiency or productivity
Time management may be aided by a range of skills tools

Because time management is life management. We are playing multiple

roles simultaneously - parent, child, spouse, friend, professional and so
on. Now each role needs slices of our time. If we devote most of our
time to work, we might end up as a bad parent/child and spouse. At the
end of life, nobody wants to be hated by family, yet
honored/remembered by society. So we need balance - which is not
something we achieve once and then maintain forever. This balance is
more like walking on a rope - a constant struggle. It's hard but the skill
is achievable

Definition: The Transactional Analysis refers to the psychoanalytic process
wherein the interpersonal behaviors are studied. In other words, a social
psychological model that talks about the personal growth and personal
change, i.e., identifying the ego states of each individual to understand their
behaviours and altering them to solve the emotional problems.

This model was originally developed by Dr Eric Berne, who during his
observation found that his patients behaved in a way as if several different
people were inside them. This forced him to study the personality and
dynamics of self and its relationship with others which helped in determining
the kinds of behaviour’s that an individual shows in different real time
situations.

Now, this study has become a well-established approach and is being widely
used in several fields such as psychotherapy, counselling, education,
organizational development, etc. The transactional analysis gives birth to
several models that help in explaining the relationship formed between the
individuals as a result of their interactions. It mainly involves

 Johari Window (Analysis of Awareness)

 Ego States or PAC Model (Structural Analysis)
 Life Positions
 Life Script
 Analysis of Transactions

how people are responding and behaving with each other, the study of such transactions
between people is called as the transactional analysis.
