It is compared the public debt in 2012 of eight countries: Spain, Mexico, Ecuador, Guatemala, the United
States, Colombia, Peru and Argentina. For this, the data on the public debt of the countries is obtained and
divided by the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) of each of them. The percentages of debt to GDP are in the
