Answer :

The point of tentative suggestions is to help convey ideas that are not necessarily

2. What is the objective of a brainstorming meeting?


Answer :

People need brainstorming meetings for various purposes.


 Most of them are used to collect ideas or opinions.
 In a brainstorming meeting, the chairperson invites ideas and discuss the
opinions with other members.
 People don’t necessarily need to make a final decision in a brainstorming
meeting.
 If you are a chairperson in a brainstorming meeting, your job is to invite as
many opinions as possible.
 You should ‘encourage’ everyone to talk.
 If you are a member of a brainstorming meeting, try to make contribution.
 Give as many ideas as possible!
Main Goals of Brainstorming :
1. Solve problems creatively or innovatively.
2. Improving individual critical and creative thinking.
3. Resist criticism and welcome all kinds of ideas.
4. Association of ideas is another purpose of the exchange of opinions,
encouraging to combine ideas or develop existing ideas.
5. Bringing up a new perspective on the problem that can introduce many
new ideas.

Maybe I will do the following :


a. Give the person a chance to add notes or email with other ideas after
the session to make room for the introvert.

b. Or divide the brainstorming into two sessions, individual reflection and


group thinking. To avoid the dominance of a few vocal people in the
brainstorming session. During individual reflection, members can
focus on exploring their own ideas. Meanwhile during group thought
sessions, ask members to present ideas, and provide opportunities for
suggestions and discussion afterward.
