INFORMATION REGARDING AQUILION AND ASTEION

MULTISLICE SYSTEMS

This document provides information such as the model names of Aquilion multislice systems and Asteion
multislice systems. For Asteion multislice systems, a 4-MHU tube with a smaller focus is employed
together with the installation of the DDR (dynamic dose reduction) kit. Be sure to install the correct X-
ray tube when replacing the X-ray tube.

[Aquilion multislice systems (employing the LCD monitor)]

10,000 rotations)

CAUTION: The CXB-400B cannot be used in this system.

If the CXB-400B tube is used, performance cannot be guaranteed and the X-ray tube may be
damaged.
In addition, the CXB-400C cannot be installed alone in systems in which the CXB-400B is currently
used.
In order to use the CXB-400C in the above systems, the CXB-400C mounting kit
(CIDR-003A) must be obtained separately.
If the CXB-400C is installed without using the CIDR-003A, performance cannot be guaranteed and
the X-ray tube may be damaged.
