METHODOLOGY TO CARRY OUT SPRAYING JOB

Duration of work will be maximum of 16 weeks, working from Fridays to Sundays each weekend and
carrying out activities possible during the week.

No of doors to cover each weekend..................................................................... An average of 35

l Method to apply: Wrappers to carefully and completely adequately tape and cover Ironmongery,
surrounding walls and floors to ensure complete protection from all stains.
l Sanders to commence sanding of doors and surface preparation.
l Painters to commence careful and gentle rolling of exposed areas of doors and frames
l Cleaners to continuously clean throughout the process.
l Both sides of door to be painted.
l All door ironmongery (Door handles, key cylinder covers, to be removed & fixed after painting
l All door hinges to be protected, covered and taped.
l Door closers, magnetic closer iron parts to be removed & fixed when paint dries out
l Nylon sheet protection with tape around the door both side with 5sq.m area (wall and floor) to
protect the surroundings.
l Vacuum machine must be used during scrapping, sand paper of doors.
l Door scrapping, putty, sand paper work can be done at night from 7.00pm - 5.00am week days
l Paint by brush and rollers to be done on doors and frames from Friday after 6.00pm till Sunday

l Door to be left to dry up on Sunday and allow smell die out. Also cleaning and house keeping,
removal of all barriers, tapes to make place ready for use on Monday morning.
l Normal routine work in offices/ users movement must not be disturbed/ obstructed by painting
activities.
l At least one Supervisor and one HSE personnel to be present with the team at all times.
l Paint to glossy, washable, cleanable, anti-bacterial and anti-fungus.
l Paint quality and color must be approved by client.
l Required proper door repair works, with quality finishing, primer coat and 2 coats of paint on all
doors.
l Data sheets for steel and wooden doors paint, primer, and all materials are required for approval
l All material must be delivered at site sealed in packing by factory and must be opened for use in
presence of client representative.
l Contractor is responsible for all kind of strains at any place, floor, walls. Contractor is responsible
to clean /repaint/replace the items stained/damaged by contractor staff/representatives.
l Contractor must finish complete one floor properly in all aspects and deliver to client for use,
before starting/entering to the next floor. (Plan and staff capable to complete task must be
presented for approval)
l All staff to contractor, must have proper PPE, coverall, safety helmets, safety shoes, hand gloves,
masks and other required PPE related to task.
l One steel door and one wooden door sample must be done for client approval to cheak quality
of work.

The general idea is to handle one floor minimum each weekend.

Target will be 30 to 35 doors door each week/weekend.
