Mady displays a high level of professionalism. She attends to all responsibilities placed upon her.

She regularly arrives at school well before the beginning of class to allow ample time for
preparation of lessons resources and classroom set up. She demonstrates initiative by accepting
responsibilities beyond what was expected of her. Across the last few weeks of the practicum,
Mady developed a few lessons on the standards based around patterns in the sky that
demonstrated she is a thoughtful, teacher. Enjoyed watching her use the KWL, hands on
materials, and the use of technology. Mady took the initiative to share her lesson plans with me
well in advance which indicated a commitment to her growth as a developing teacher. If she has
a question she is not afraid to ask and takes initiative with kids when she
needs they may need extra support with academics, social, or whatever it may be. Mady
demonstrates flexibility, adaptability, and initiative. Sometimes things don’t go as planned and
she is always ready to just jump in and do things on the fly if need be. When I am not able to be
in the classroom and I have a substitute I’m not worried one bit because Mady is there. Anybody
will be lucky to have her in a classroom.

Something Mady could work on would be a little more firm with classroom management while
teaching and time management with lessons.
