Biological Dental Care

A mindset that looks at the cause of the illness or disease

and treats conservatively and safely in the least toxic
way possible.

The aim is to be minimally invasive, “maximally”

preventive, and as natural as possible.

Identify Systemic Issues

The well-being of the mouth influences the health

and wellness of the entire body.
What is Tooth Decay?
Pathological process
involving softening of the
hard tooth structure and
proceeding to the formation
of a cavity.

Acidogenic Theory of Tooth Decay:
A theory describing the cause of dental caries, first
postulated by Willoughby D. Miller in 1890, which stated
that non-specific bacteria in the plaque fermented
refined carbohydrates to produce acid that
demineralized tooth enamel.

Sugar kills the immune system.

“A study published in the American Journal of Clinical
Nutrition showed that eating more than 75 grams of sugar
(Six Tablespoons) decreased white blood cells’ ability to
attack pathogens, both bacterial and viral.

In a time when we are being so diligent about mask wearing, hand washing and
“social-distancing”, how much are we paying attention to supporting our body’s
immune system?

Let’s face it – viruses happen, and we are covered by bacteria. If you want to
avoid getting sick, eat in a way that supports your health!”

The toxins in your mouth
could be the missing
piece to your health.

Dr. Caitlin Czezowski, DC, CFMP, CACCP

Imagine this:
Symptoms: Diagnosis:
• Weight gain • Leaky gut

• Brain fog • Food sensitivities

• Moody • Insulin resistance

• Hair falling out • Estrogen dominance

• Hormone imbalances • Unknown autoimmune

Amalgam Composition:

• 45-55% Mercury Liquid

• 15-30% Silver

• 3-30% Copper
Alloy Mixture
• ~10% Tin

• ~1% Zinc
Mercury Vapors
Off gas:
• Chewing

• Brushing

• Hot beverages

• Grinding/ Clenching

• Teeth Cleaning

• Placement and Removal of amalgam fillings

YouTube: Smoking Tooth

-Youtube
So where are the
mercury vapors going?
Elemental Mercury is
“less toxic” then Organic
Mercury (methylmercury)
The facts about
Methylmercury:

• 100 times more toxic

• When ingested; combines with glutathione = easily

crosses BBB and PB

• Has an affinity for nerve cells

• It’s fat friendly which means it crosses cell

membranes
• 1983 publication “Methylation of Mercury from
Dental Amalgam and Mercuric Chloride by oral
Streptococcus in Vitro”
Studies
• Radioactive Hg fillings placed in pregnant sheep

• Within days Hg was found both in Mom and fetus

= Generational Toxicity

• Was repeated with monkeys

• Analysis of old fillings showed that 5 and 7 year old

fillings contained 27 and 36% mercury
Some of the symptoms
of Mercury Toxicity:
Weight loss Decreased mental
Fatigue Respiratory issues
resistance function

Hypothyroidism/
Problems falling Immune system
endocrine Mood swings
asleep impairment
disruption
Hormone
Problems staying
imbalances - Kidney failure Irritability
asleep
infertility
Cold hands and
Headaches Gingivitis Nervousness
feet

Cardiovascular Oral lichenoid

Memory loss Depression/ anxiety
problems leisons
What does glyphosate
have to do with mercury?

Glyphosate makes both mercury and aluminum more toxic…

During Removal
• Drilling out amalgam filling causes mercury vapors
to be released at an increased rates

• 80% of Vaporized Hg gets absorbed by the lungs

and passed on to the rest of the body (Brain)

• Because of this having the right dentist is

imperative along with specific supplements to
prevent absorption and redistribution

Journal of occupational medicine and toxicology- 2019
If you are going to remove your amalgam
fillings there are a few things to note:

• Not all dentist are equivalent

• Traditional vs Mercury Free vs SMART

http://dentaldetoxchecklist.com
Supplementation:

• Detox pathways are open

• Proper binders are used

- Binding capacity

- Half life

- Purity
Remember there still is the bioaccumulation
of mercury from the amalgam filling that
needs to be detoxed from the body and
brain both safely and effectively.
Safe detox includes

• Detox pathways are open

• Creating a concentration gradient to remove toxins

• Proper binders are used

• Detox is cycled (need on and off cycles)

Methylation and MTHFR

MTHFR - A Key Aspect of Methylation

What is Methylation?
• It is the transfer of a methyl group (one carbon atom and 3
hydrogen atoms) onto amino acids, proteins, enzymes and DNA in
every cell and tissue.
• Methyl groups are the “On-Off switches” of the cells activities
• All genuine healing is within the cell. When the cell and its
membrane are healthy the other tissues and organs function
properly.

www.mthfrsupport.com.au
Carolyn@mthfrgenesupport.com
What does Methylation do?
- Turns genes on and off

- Repairs and builds DNA & RNA

- Reduces aging process (protects telomeres)

- Detoxifies chemicals & heavy metals

- Processes hormones

- Builds immune cells

- Turns the stress response on and off

- Provides us with energy

- Reduces Histamine

- Repairs cell membranes & produces myelination of nerves

- Supports neurotransmitters to prevent depression, anxiety, insomnia & aid brain function

MTHFR (methylenetetrahydrofolate

An enzyme that converts

folate you eat into the
active 5-
methyltetrahydrofolate.

Two of the genes that

encode for MTHFR are:
• C677T
• A1298C

MTHFR Genes

Heterozygous = 1 copy of the gene from mum or dad

Homozygous = 2 copies of the gene from mum and dad.

These mutations cause a DOWN regulation of the enzyme

MTHFR C677T Heterozygous - 30-40% loss of function

MTHFR C677T Homozygous - 60-70% loss of function

MTHFR A1298C Heterozygous – @ 20% loss of function

MTHFR A1298C Homozygous – 40% loss of function

If you are heterozygous for C677T and heterozygous for A1298C,

then this is termed ‘compound heterozygous’ and results in 40-
50% loss of function.

Watch Your Mouth!
The Role of the Oral Microbiome in Systemic
Health

Presented by Jocelyn Strand, ND

Oral Health Statistics

• Up to 77% of American adults over 30 years of

age suffering from gingival or periodontal
disease

• 700+ species of bacteria in the mouth, with a

mean of 296

• 1milliliter of saliva =108 microorganisms

• We swallow one liter or more of saliva each day!

Oral Ecology and the Microbiome

The mouth is not a homogenous environment for resident microbiotia and offers
several distinct habitats for microbial colonization:
• Tongue
• Attached gingiva
• Cheek
• Lip
• Hard and soft palate
• Teeth (the only natural non-shedding surfaces of the body, which provide a
great opportunity for the formation of biofilm and a secure haven for
microbial persistence)
• Additional non-shedding surfaces in the mouth include: dental
restorations, crown and bridgework, removable prostheses and implants
Oral Biofilms

Fungal– Candida Biofilm

Candida Candida Biofilm

What are biofilms?
• Biofilms are communities of microbial cells surrounded
by a secreted polymer, called the extracellular polymeric
substance or EPS which is an inflammatory endotoxin.

• What are Biofilms?

Composed of multiple organisms, including both aerobic
and anaerobic bacteria and/or fungal species

• More than 80% of all microbial infections have developed

biofilms beginning in as little as two weeks from the onset of
infection

• Biofilm bacteria can resist up to 5000 times the antibiotic

concentration that would normally be needed to resolve
infections.

• Biofilms in the GI tract often contain LPS Endotoxin from

Gram negative bacteria. Intestinal permeability can
translocate the LPS.
Oral Ecology and the Microbiome

• The distinct, non-shedding structure of

teeth (smooth surfaces, pits and fissures,
proximal sites and exposed roots) enables
large masses of microbes to accumulate as
dental plaque biofilm

• The plaque biofilm is not naturally shed as

it accumulates, which is a key driver of
dysbiosis in the absence of proper oral
hygiene to disrupt and remove it.

• If not removed, certain bacteria are able to

emerge and an incipient dysbiosis
develops.

Oral Biofilms

Periodontal Disease-Associated Biofilm

Periodontal disease is among the most common oral
infectious disease associated with the establishment of a
highly pathogenic biofilm that triggers an
immune/inflammatory host response, leading to the
destruction of supporting periodontal tissues and eventual
tooth loss.

“Due to the anatomical proximity of the periodontal biofilm

to the gingival blood stream, periodontal pockets may act as
reservoirs of microbial pathogens and their products, as well
as inflammatory mediators and immunocomplexes that can
disseminate to other sites in the body.”

Oral Health and CVD

The Endotoxin Connection –

Leaky Mouth:
The research published in the
Journal of Dental Research
found that people with
untreated tooth infections are
2.7 times more likely to have
cardiovascular problems, such
as coronary artery disease,
than patients who have had
treatment of dental infections.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5960472/
The Mouth – Lung Connection

The most abundant phyla are Bacteroidetes and Firmicutes;

prominent genera uniformly include Prevotella, Veillonella, and
Streptococcus (27, 30, 70). Microbiota of the lung more closely
resemble those of the mouth (its primary source community) than
those of other body sites

It is plausible but unproven that the bulk of physiological

microaspiration occurs during sleep, when subjects are
supine and protective laryngeal and cough reflexes are
depressed.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4751994/pdf/nihms756902.pdf
“In every lung disease studied to date, the lung microbiome
is altered compared with that of healthy controls.”

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4751994/pdf/nihms756902.pdf
Oral Health and Autoimmune Disease

1676 subjects aged 30–40 years old from

Stockholm County (Sweden) participated in this
study in 1985. Subjects were randomly selected
from the registry file of Stockholm region and
were followed-up for 30 years

The result showed that subjects with a higher plaque index,

marker of poor oral hygiene, were more likely to develop
autoimmune diseases in 30 years.

“It is clear from the human and proof

of concept studies in animal models
that whole bacteria and their
constituent endo/exotoxins enter the

imperative that the oral health
component is included as a

"This suggests that the oral cavity may be the primary
source of C. albicans detected in the stool of healthy
people. Indeed, the fungal component of dental plaque
of at least one cohort has been shown to be dominated
by C. albicans. Taking additional measures to further
reduce oral C. albicans levels, such as extra flossing and
attention to elimination of plaque and reduction of
consumption of refined sugars, may reduce levels of C.
albicans in stool even further. “

Biofilms

What are Biofilms?

• LPS and other metabolites produced continually
• Ineffective immune response generating chronic inflammation
• Inflammatory damage to hepatocytes.
• Retention of toxins in the extracellular matrix (heavy metals,
organophosphates)
• Retention of endogenously produced toxins (oxalates, ROS)
• Ongoing source of dysbiotic organisms preventing balance in the
GI tract.
Historically, combinations of herbs
(usually referred to as formulae, in
some cases combining as many as
20– 30 herbs) were commonly
employed. This exponentially
increases the range of possible
interactions between the
constituents in the various herbs
themselves as well as in the human
body… We have empirical
knowledge of plants based on
millennia of use…Plants often have a
positive synergistic effect on
medicines such as antibiotics and
chemotherapeutic agents. The
complexity of botanical medicine is
ultimately a delight. It is not merely a
frustrating obstacle in the way of
solidly designed double- blind,
randomized, placebo- controlled
studies. The full benefit of botanical
medicine will be ours only if we are
willing to rise to the intellectual
challenge that plant use presents.

Craniosacral Fascial Therapy
The Gillespie Approach - CFT
The missing piece for optimal cranio-dental treatment,
development and well being
What is CFT?
Craniosacral Fascial Therapy is…
○ Based on the theory that Craniosacral and Fascial systems are
not separate but one interconnected system
○ Blends two established modalities of Cranial Sacral Therapy
and Myofascial Release Therapy along with dental techniques
○ Very gentle and natural modality that produces therapeutic
benefits without the risk of side effects
Dr. Barry Gillespie

○ Founded Craniosacral Fascial Therapy

○ Developed CFT as a periodontist in the 1970’s
while searching for his own healing
○ Dr. Gillespie combined cranial osteopathy,
myofascial release and dental release
techniques with remarkable results
What is Fascia?
○ The continuous layered web of connective tissue that surrounds all
structures of the body and brain
○ Made of collagen tubules containing cerebrospinal fluid that provides
fluidity and glide for optimal mobility and function of tissue
○ Provides framework to support and protect the body and brain. It
envelops organs, glands, muscles, nerves and oral structures
○ It influences function of cranial nerves and central nervous system
Orange as a model of Fascia

White pith covers orange under the peel, runs at the core of the
orange, sections the orange and runs through the sections
Images of Fascia
What is the Craniosacral System?

○ The Craniosacral System includes the structures of the brain, spinal

cord and sacrum that gently pump cerebrospinal fluid
○ Meninges are fascial membranes surrounding the brain and spinal
cord. Cerebrospinal Fluid flows between layers of the meninges
○ The membranes divide the brain into right and left hemispheres.
They also divide the cerebrum from the cerebellum and attach to
surface of cranial bones
What is Cerebrospinal Fluid?
○ Clear, colorless fluid found in the fascia
network of the brain, spine and body
○ Provides shock absorption, nutrient
delivery and detoxification
○ Secreted by choroid plexus in the
brain. CSF flows between the arachnoid
and pia mater layers of the meninges
down the spinal canal

Craniosacral Fascial System
○ The Craniosacral System lies within and is connected to the
fascial web. It is ONE system we call the Craniosacral Fascial
System
○ Physical/emotional traumas tighten a free moving system by
exerting pressure on nerves, muscles, organs, blood and
lymph vessels, and bones
○ Releasing fascia strain allows the cranial bones and sacrum
to correct, optimizing the flow of cerebrospinal fluid
Biotensegrity Model

Fascia can pull and distort structures

globally within the body
Biotensegrity and Cranio-Dental Structure

○ Tensegrity = Tension + Integrity

○ Global view of the body rather than local helps find
where problems originate
○ The bones of the body float within the soft tissue
○ Cranio-dental strain can cause issues elsewhere in the
body and vice versa
How does CFT work?
○ CFT gently unwinds and releases accumulated fascial
strain for optimal mobility and better brain function
○ Facilitates the flow of cerebrospinal fluid to help
nourish and detoxify body and brain
○ Hold one hand on the craniosacral system and explore
the fascia with the other hand to find strain and then
assist with the release
The Brain Cycle
○ Brain has inherent motion which expands and contracts
○ It encourages cerebrospinal fluid flow. Restricted motion can
greatly affect our health and nervous system
○ The Brain Cycle assesses the degree of tightness in the
craniosacral fascial system by qualifying and timing motion
○ There is a high correlation between the quality of the Brain
Cycle and the experience of health and wellness
How To Feel the Brain Cycle

Brain Cycle is assessed by

placing hands gently on
head and feeling for
expansion and contraction
while qualifying and timing
the motion.
What Causes Tightness in the Craniosacral Fascial System?
TRAUMA
○ Positional Strain in Utero
○ Birth Trauma
○ Falls
○ Surgeries
○ Accidents
○ Concussions
○ Dental/Ortho Procedures
○ Emotional Traumas
Infant conditions that may benefit from CFT

Birth trauma Difficulty sucking

Tongue tie/Lip tie Difficulty sleeping
Torticollis Constipation
Reflux Head asymmetry
Colic Earache
Inability to latch General fussiness
Childhood conditions that may benefit from CFT

Asthma Anxiety
Earache Neck pain
Concussion Digestive Issues
ADHD/ADD Bedwetting
Learning disorders Headache
Sinus conditions Scoliosis
Adult conditions that may benefit from CFT

Headache/Migraine Sinus conditions

Concussion Anxiety/Depression
TMJ Sleep Issues/Airway
Back/Neck pain Poor range of motion
Digestive Issues Whiplash
Hip pain Scars
CFT and Cranial Nerve Dysfunction
What is the Dental Component of CFT?

○ Fascia wraps around the structures of the oral cavity

○ CFT techniques can help release tightness around teeth, palate, tongue,
sublingual area, hyoid, TMJ, sinuses and cranial nerves
○ CFT helps brings the fascia forward for optimal tethered oral tissue release
○ CFT releases cranio-dental strain from orthodontic treatment and dental
procedures
Common Oral Structure in our Clients

○ High palate
○ Cranial bone distortion
○ Mouth breathing
○ Compromised airway
○ Crowded teeth
○ TMJ
○ Tongue thrust
○ Poor facial aesthetics
Fascia and the Teeth
○ Each tooth has a relationship to the fascial web that holds memory of
it’s position even if moved by orthodontics
○ It is important to address this strain before, during and after
orthodontics for optimal outcome
○ Numbing injections, fillings, crowns, bonding, root canal, veneers and
blunt trauma cause fascial strain for teeth
○ Fascial strain may result in pain at the tooth site or elsewhere in the
body based on the biotensegrity model
The Tongue
○ The deep front line of fascia begins
with the tongue and is continuous
down to the toes
○ Fascial restriction from the tongue
will affect the whole body
○ CFT helps release tightness around
the tongue and especially helps
with tongue tie revision
Fascia and Tongue Posture

○ Beginning in utero, proper resting

tongue posture is on the roof of the
mouth
○ This helps form a wide upper arch
○ Low tongue posture can cause
lifetime health and aesthetic
consequences
○ CFT helps assess and release fascial
strain related to this dysfunction
Tongue Tie and Fascial Strain

○ Tethered Oral Ties (TOTs) include

Frenulum, Buccal and Lip ties
○ TOTs are fascia that are thick, tight or
too short for optimal function
○ Ties are local to the oral structures
and connected to the entire fascial
web
CFT and TOTs

○ CFT brings the fascia forward for

optimal release
○ After the release, CFT helps
reorganize a new coordination
pattern for the tongue and body
CFT for Airway Development
○ CFT releases fascial strain to
allow for optimal cranial bone,
palate, and airway development
○ Accumulated fascial strain,
improper tongue position and
mouth breathing can result in
sleep disordered breathing
○ Poor quality of oxygen during
sleep can lead to serious health
conditions
Orthodontics/Expansion

○ Orthodontics and Expansion may inhibit the Brain Cycle

○ A compromised Brain Cycle may cause issues with the
endocrine, digestive and nervous systems
○ CFT may help these issues before, during and after the
orthodontic treatment
○ Dental/Orthodontic patients can experience optimal results and
experience overall health benefits with CFT treatments
CFT and TMJ
○ Compressed TMJ joints from fascial
strain affect muscles, nerves and
position of the jaw
○ CFT releases tightness in the body
that eases the pain and tension in
the TMJ area
○ Often there is tightness elsewhere in
the body that is pulling up into the
jaw that causes clenching and pain
Dental Appliances
○ Some dental appliances can affect the craniosacral fascial
system
○ Assessing the brain cycle can determine if an appliance is
cranio-friendly
○ By understanding the influence of appliances on the brain
cycle, dental and CFT professionals can work together for
the highest good of the patient
Myofunctional Therapy
The 4 goals of Myofunctional Therapy
○ Nasal breathing
○ Lip seal
○ Correct oral resting tongue posture
○ Correct swallowing pattern

CFT relieves tightness and Myofunctional Therapy re-patterns oral facial

habits. Together these therapies advance healthy structure and function
within the craniodental system.
CFT and the Dental Profession
○ A truly integrated dental approach addresses the craniosacral
fascial system as it relates to dental procedures, oral tie
revisions, orthodontics and appliances
○ We envision holistic dental professionals using CFT in their
practice or developing relationships with CFT professionals
○ The primary goal being dental and overall health of their
patients
Who Should Learn CFT
Anyone of any skill level can learn CFT
○ We teach CFT throughout the United States and internationally
○ Students learn to assess brain motion, feel fascial strain and
follow the body to release it in this hands on three day class
○ We teach dental professionals including dentists, orthodontists,
dental assistants, hygienists and myofunctional therapists

The same effort that these artists put into their creations, we
need to put into the patient experience. You must be able to

personalized for each patient.

If you don’t — you enter the diminishing world of services

Are Your Teeth Causing Cancer?

What You Need to Know About Dental Toxins and Cancer

Knowledge is power (when applied effectively)
The more you know about cancer, the more you can protect yourself and your
family, help your body heal, and live longer and healthier.
But knowledge, by itself, is not power, it’s only powerful to you if you apply it, and
apply it effectively.
That’s what this presentation is all about.

We will cover:
The main dental procedures you need to be concerned about, what actually is
cancer, what causes cancer, the myths about cancer, the truth about dental toxins
and cancer, how to take care of your gums and teeth properly, and how you can
prevent and reverse cancer naturally.
Background
Was sick, addicted, unhappy.
Now I’m happy, healthy and I
get to help people become
healthy and happy as well. :-)
So What Actually is Cancer?
● Cancer is chronic cell fermentation. It’s a
metabolic disease.
● It’s a natural process. It’s meant to save the life of
the cell, rather than have it become necrotic.
● Healthy cell produces around 36 ATP, cancer
cell produces around 2 ATP.
● It’s nothing to be feared as an everyday part of life.
● It becomes a problem when it advances exponentially.
● There are well known and documented causes and
solutions of cancer in general, including specifally
skin cancer

3 COMMON FORMS DENTAL WORK

1. Fillings
2. Root Canals
3. Implants

https://www.aad.org/public/diseases/skin-cancer/types/common
https://www.skincancer.org/skin-cancer-information/basal-cell-carcinoma/bcc-causes-and-risk-factors/
FILLINGS
5 MAIN TYPES OF FILLINGS
● Gold fillings are strong, non-corrosive and can last up to 15 years. However, they are
much more expensive than silver amalgam fillings and can take more than one dental
visit to be fitted.
● Silver amalgam fillings are also strong and durable, They are more likely to expand and
contract and to cause a tooth crack, and they contain Mercury: a known neurotoxin.
● Composite fillings are more closely matched to the color of your teeth. However, composite
fillings are more expensive than silver fillings and are not as durable.
● Ceramic fillings are made of porcelain and durable. However, ceramic fillings cost more
than silver and can wear the opposing teeth if the porcelain becomes rough.
● Glass ionomers (acrylic fillings) often last for less than five years, often used for children if
their teeth are changing. They can also release Fluoride. Fluoride is a known neurotoxin.
○ WHAT TYPE OF FILLINGS DO YOU HAVE?

https://greendentalalexandria.com/choosing-the-right-type-of-dental-filling/
MERCURY
● Mercury has been identified as one of the most toxic
nonradioactive materials known to human beings.
● Even though dental mercury amalgams have been used
for more than 150 years, their safety and risks have never
undergone the regulatory proof-of-safety testing that is
required for other medical implants under the U.S. law.
● The use of mercury in tooth fillings represents around
10% of the total global mercury consumption in the U.S.
alone, up to 32 tons are used per year.
● In vitro experiments have demonstrated that elemental
mercury is ten times more toxic than lead on neurons

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6466133/
MERCURY CONT…
● Mercury is found in fish, humans, vaccine preservatives, thermometers,
cosmetics, light bulbs, and other products and processes, including
dental amalgams
● The greatest concern for mercury toxicity is its gaseous state—it readily
vaporizes at room temperature and it’s vapor is odorless and invisible
● The constant release of mercury vapor from amalgams is absorbed in the
blood through pulmonary airways and can pass easily through the blood-
brain barrier into the neurons and mitochondria, thereby potentially
causing neurological impairment, its bioaccumulation in the brain may be
the cause for various neurological diseases such as Parkinson and
Alzheimer’s Diseases or even Sclerosis.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6466133/
MERCURY AND CANCER…
● They found in studies that methylmercury
chloride causes kidney tumors in male mice.
● While not enough studies have been done yet,
the sparse epidemiologic data point toward the
possibility of a risk of lung, kidney, and central
nervous system tumors.
● The constant release of mercury and its presence in
saliva, as well as the added consumption of
contaminated fish and seafood products, constitute
a serious and exacerbated burden in humans.
● FOR SURE, WE KNOW IT’S TOXIC TO THE BODY!

ROOT CANALS
- A root canal is removing the infected part of your tooth, will
make an opening to access the pulp chamber. The pulp and the
root are then removed, and the void is sealed.
- The problem comes when sealing the void area – it can get
filled with bacteria, fungi, and the thousand other varieties in
the mouth, become trapped, and eventually chronically
inflamed.
- Dr. Robert Kulacz – said he has done biopsies on every root canal tooth that he
has extracted. Almost all of them have remnants of necrotic debris still in that canal.
He says you can not get into the little lateral canals or little tributaries that come off
that branch off the main canal. You can never clean those with instrumentation or
with any antimicrobial disinfectant agent that you may introduce into the canal.

https://mercola.fileburst.com/PDF/ExpertInterviewTranscripts/Interview-RobertKulacz-TheToxicToothHowARootCanalCouldBeMakingYouSick.pdf
ROOT CANALS
- Oral Microbiota
- The oral microbiome comprises more than 1000
varieties, most of which are as-yet uncultivated.
- The mouth is colonized by a wealth of diverse
microorganisms, including bacteria, fungi, protozoa
and archaea.
- Infections of the root canal space can be extremely
painful and potentially dangerous, yet they often are not.

- Chronic Infections go Unnoticed for Years

- Chronic, asymptomatic inflammatory infections within the root canal
can develop unnoticed, and remain so for years, contributing to a
chronic inflammatory response inside the body for years.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4601489/
INFLAMMATION
Chronic inflammation causes cancer. Research has also shown that
chronic inflammation is associated with heart disease, diabetes, arthritis,
and bowel diseases like Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.

https://www.cancer.gov/about-cancer/causes-prevention/risk/chronic-inflammation
https://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/understanding-acute-and-chronic-inflammation
YOUR TOOTH IS AN ORGAN
- Root canal teeth are dead organs left in your body.
- No other medical profession would even consider leaving a
dead organ in your body because of chance of infection.
- Once the root is taken out, you’re left with a dead tooth
rotting away inside your mouth.
“I do not recommend root canals. And if you
have them, I recommend getting them taken out
and cleaned up by a certified IABDM.org
Biological dentist. Removal of dead teeth is ideal.

- Nathan Crane

A MUCH BETTER
SOLUTION
MARYLAND BRIDGES

● The Maryland bridge is a method used to replace a missing

tooth, without having to harm the neighboring teeth.
● A Maryland bridge consists of a metal framework with a
porcelain tooth connected onto the framework. The
framework then ends up as a false tooth with one or
two metal wings on the side.
FLIPPER / DENTURES

● Only wear when absolutely needed.

● Very affordable
● Easy to take care of
● Not convenient when in public eating
● Otherwise a much safer option
PREVENTION / HEALING

● Prevention is your best cure. But there are many things you can do
to heal your teeth if they are infected.
● Herbal medicines have been used to heal diseases of the mouth
for centuries.
● A number of studies have shown the benefits of plants like: Aloe Vera,
Tabasco Pepper, Mexican Tea, Prickly Pear, Avocado, Knotweed,
Green Tea, Tryphala, Pomegranate, and Cats Claw being used to help
in a variety of studies for: Inhibition of gingivitis and plaque, Reduction
of gingival inflammation, Reduction of gingival bleeding, Suppression of
cell growth and total cell death, High antibacterial activity, Reduction of
the growth rate of oral streptococci, Antibacterial activity against S.
mutans, and more!

THREE PRODUCTS I CURRENTLY USE

I am not endorsing these products or companies professionally, I am only sharing with you that I
currently use these for myself and my family.
NATURAL ANTI-CANCER COMPOUNDS
• CAROTENOIDS
• Carotenoids are pigments in plants, algae, and photosynthetic bacteria. These pigments
produce the bright yellow, red, and orange colors in plants, vegetables, and fruits.
Carotenoids act as a type of antioxidant for humans. There are more than 600 different types
of carotenoids.
• β-Carotene - The most widely studied carotenoid and one of the most abundant
carotenoids in the human diet is β-carotene. Some of the dietary sources of β-carotene are
carrots, spinach, peppers, pumpkin, sweet potatoes and cantaloupe
• It was shown that a diet high in carotenoids (β-carotene included) may be related to a
• decreased risk for melanoma.
β-Carotene is able to induce apoptosis in melanoma cells in vitro
• Lycopene is one of the most common acyclic carotenoids and it is the pigment found in red
and orange-fleshed fruits and vegetables. Examples are watermelon papaya, tomato,
guava, grapefruit, apricot and peaches
• Increasing evidence suggests that lycopene, a major carotenoid detected in human
plasma, may be preventive against the formation and the development of different types of
human cancers including prostate, breast, and lung cancer.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6271439/
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26298459/
NATURAL ANTI-CANCER COMPOUNDS
• VITAMINS
• VITAMIN A - In a large cohort study, the intake of Vitamin A supplements was found to be
related to a reduced risk for developing melanoma, especially in women. Sources of Vitamin
A include: mangos, papaya, many of the squashes, carrots, sweet potatoes and maize (but
not the white varieties).
• VITAMIN C - Vitamin C appears to act by inducing apoptosis and by inhibiting cell
proliferation and cell growth. The main sources of vitamin C are citrus fruits, broccoli, green
pepper, tomatoes, strawberries and melons.
• VITAMIN D - is a fat soluble vitamin that is mainly converted from sun exposure into pre-
vitamin D3 in the skin. The anti-carcinogenic roles of vitamin D include decreasing
proliferation and taking part in DNA damage repair processes, while regulating the
expression of oncogenic and tumor suppression
• VITAMIN E - Vitamin E is a fat soluble, essential nutrient, having anti-oxidant activities within
the body. Treatment of murine melanoma cells with α-tocopherol acid succinate was
reported by Ottino and Duncan to inhibit cell growth and cell proliferation. Good sources
include: Sunflower seeds, Almonds Peanuts, Beet greens, collard greens, spinach,
Pumpkin, Red bell pepper Asparagus, Mango, Avocado

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6271439/
NATURAL ANTI-CANCER COMPOUNDS
• TERPENOIDS / TERPENES
• Are found in many forms of plants, mushrooms, and algae.

• Mushrooms: Ganoderma/Reishi - It was found that extracts had shown strong anti-melanoma
activity in vitro and they had reduced tumor volume in vivo as well. Many forms of mushrooms
have shown promising anti-cancer results including: Camphor tree mushroom, Birch polypore,
Chaga, Velvet Foot, Cordyceps, Lion’s Mane, and Maitake – among many others
• Tea Tree Oil: has been reported to inhibit melanoma cell growth in vitro through cell cycle arrest,
apoptosis, necrosis and inhibition of cell proliferation.
• Algae: Arthrospira platensis, a blue-green alga, is a popular nutraceutical substance having
• potent antioxidant properties with potential anti-carcinogenic activities.
Curcumin: holds anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anticancer, antiseptic,
antiplasmodial, astringent, digestive, diuretic, and many other properties.
• Other common plants high in terpenoids include: tea, thyme, cannabis, Spanish sage, and citrus
fruits (ie;, lemon, orange, mandarin).

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3339609/
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29762545/
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7120914/
NATURAL ANTI-CANCER COMPOUNDS

• SULFORAPHANE
• Found in cruciferous vegetables, such as broccoli, cabbage, kale
and cauliflower.
• The anti-cancer activities of sulforaphane being reported include
apoptosis induction, inhibition of cell proliferation and the inhibition of
metastasis.
• Sulforaphane, like other compounds, acts on various receptors
and pathways in order to induce apoptosis in melanoma cells.
• In vivo studies on the actions of sulforaphane in a murine melanoma
model have revealed that sulforaphane is anti-metastatic and has
potential for application in cancer immunotherapy

SEEING A PATTERN YET

• PLANTS ARE MEDICINE!

• A diet high in natural, organic, diverse plants certainly can assist your
body in healing itself or helping prevent against cancer.
• Fruits/vegetables/nuts/seeds/mushrooms/berries/onions/and
legumes should be eaten fresh and in high abundance daily. Avoid
• processed sugar.
• Get a well balanced diet. Avoid processed food.

Purpose of Microbaric Trays
• To create a controlled sustained ecologic
environment that is conducive to pathogenic load
reduction, yet that can support and enhance cellular
function.

• This is accomplished by exposure of the oral tissue to

moisturized oxygen/ozone gas at a sustained flow
and micro-dose for a set period of time.

TREATMENT UNITS: RESULTS AFTER 8 YEARS OF COMPARASION

Abstract
The method of disinfecting water in dental treatment units using
ozone-containing water was first described 10 years ago. In an
investigational period over the last 8 years, waters from the outlets of
14 treatment units were examined microbiologically in a total of 240
tests. Twelve of the treatment units, employing hydrogen
peroxide/silver ion disinfection - after repeated sanitization - regularly
exceeded the limits laid down in the regulations governing water
purity, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa could be detected at 181 water
outlets. However, germs could hardly be detected
in any of the tests of waters sampled from the
two treatment units using ozonated water
disinfection.
