Good morning all.

On this occasion, allow me to make an introduction to who I am. My name is Riki

Satria. I am the first of three children. I was born in Bekasi, Juli 14th 1990. Currently,
I live in Jalan Kebon Waru number 33, Tangerang, South Jakarta.

Speaking of a hobby, music is one of my hobbies. I can play the guitar since 4th grade
and now I have created 4 songs. I have a dream to make a band and will share a stage
with Coldplay. Hopefully, my dream can come true.

I have 2 siblings who are still in elementary school, Nini and Nina, they’re twins. My
father works for a prominent contractor company and my mother works in the
hospital. I guess that’s all I can say about this introduction. Thank you very much for

PERSONAL PRONOUNS

Definisi Personal Pronoun

Personal pronoun merupakan pronoun (kata ganti) yang digunakan untuk orang,

hewan, benda, atau hal secara spesifik.

Kata ganti ini tergantung pada peran (subject, object, possessive), jumlah, orang ke-,
dan gender dari noun yang digantikan.

Menurut Gucker (1996) dalam bukunya yang berjudul Essential English Grammar,

personal pronoun ini digunakan berdasarkan beberapa ketentuan, antara lain:

 Person: aspek person dibagi lagi menjadi tiga, yaitu: orang pertama (1st
person) yang berbicara, orang kedua (2nd person) yang diajak berbicara, dan
orang ketiga (3rd person) yang merupakan orang atau benda yang sedang
dibicarakan.
 Number: untuk aspek number atau angka juga dibagi dua lagi,
yaitu singluar dan plural.
 Gender: sesuai yang sudah kamu tahu bahwa dalam Bahasa Inggris ada kata
ganti untuk menunjuk laki-laki (masculine), perempuan (feminine), dan
juga neutral yang biasanya dipakai untuk orang yang gendernya tidak
diketahui, tumbuhan, dan hewan.
 Case: case juga dibagi lagi menjadi tiga, yaitu subjective, objective,
dan posessive.
