Proposal has been received from the group for proposed establishment
of Bromine Recovery Plant at aforesaid address by using glass distillation of
Spent Alkali bromine generated from manufacturing of pesticides,
pharmaceuticals and organic chemicals. This process will ultimately lead to
recovery of Liquid Bromine.

Proposed cost of investment of unit is proposed to be Rs 207.01 lacs

which contain cost of plant and machinery as Rs 160.15 lacs. As per Industrial
Department Notification as the cost of proposed unit is less than 5 crore as
such it is covered under SME industries. Also, as per Udhyog Aadhar
submitted by unit it is categorized as “B” category of industry which is
“Small Scale “industry.

Proposed unit is intends to establish at aforesaid address at RIICO

Industrial Area, Jadri, Falna, Pali. This site has been allotted by RIICO and
further transferred to M/s Shree Krishna Chemo Pharma for setting up unit
of Chemical Products vide letter dated 17.01.2019.

Proposed unit is covered under “ Red Category” as per HO order dated

08.05.2018 and has been listed at serial number 11 under name of “ Chlorine,
Flourine, Bromine , Iodine “

Also, as per HO Order dated 29.03.2018, aforesaid category has been

allocated to Regional Office under the head of “ Chlorine, Flourine, Bromine,
Iodine and their compounds, small and tiny scale units which have storage
within threshold quantity indicated in column 3 of schedule 2 and 3 of
MSIHC Rules, 1989”.
 As per SOP issued by unit is required to obtain authorization under
HWMR 2016, prior to commercial operation of plant and unit has to operate
as per the SOP.

As per the feasibility report submitted by unit following pollution control

measures shall be adopted by the unit:-

a. Unit shall install three stage wet scrubber system.

b. Unit shal install stack of adequate height with the boiler.

c. For treatment of effluent generated from the process, unit is proposed to

install ETPof 10 KLD. Unit has submitted Purchase order of the same at
this office.

d. Unit shall provide seprate storage tanks for storage of chemicals and
storage tanks shoall be designed with proper cover and with acid brick
lining floors.

Also, Source of waste water generation shall be fromstripping column ,

floor washing , spillage, reactor washing, scrubber bleed, boiler blow down
which shall be treated in ETP followed by forced evaporation system.

Unit may be directed to transport the condensate from MEE/forced

evaporator to CETP Pali , if approved by CETP trust of directed to install ZLD
status.

Unit has submitted Consent Fees of Rs 63000/- under Air and Water
Acts along with HWMR,2016 for an investment of Rs 207 Lacs. Adequacy of
the same shall be verified by accounts section in light of fees notification
dated 26.05.2016.
