OPTI CCA-TS2 Version 2.

00 Software Release July 2021

OPTI CCA-TS2 Software Version 2.00 is now available.

OPTI Medical is pleased to announce that Software Version 2.00 is now available for the OPTI CCA-TS2
analyzer.

Enhancements in this release:


• Create new cassette styles with extended barcode for B (11), B-60 (17), E-Cl (31), E-Lyte CCA (36), E-
Ca (41), E (53), E-Glu (60), E-BUN (61)

Recommended data back-up prior to software upgrade:

1. A USB memory stick without OPTI CCA-TS2 software is needed to complete this step.
2. Insert the USB memory stick into the back of the analyzer.
3. Export configuration data to a USB.
a. Navigate to the Configuration screen from the home screen by pressing:
Data Manager > Measurement > Configuration
b. Follow the onscreen instructions to export the configuration data.
4. Return to the home screen.
5. Export database to USB.
a. Navigate to the Database screen by pressing:
Data Manager > Diagnostic > Database
b. Follow the onscreen instructions to export the database.
6. Press the USB icon on the ready screen to safely remove the USB memory stick.

Software upgrade instructions:


NOTE: This software upgrade process will change upon updating your analyzer to version 1.11 or later, at
which point the new software upgrade process will be required (see next section).
1. Place the USB memory stick included in this kit into the back of the TS2.
2. Cycle power on the TS2.
3. Once the ready screen is displayed, press the USB icon on the ready screen to safely remove the USB
memory stick.
4. Enable tHb if you would like your analyzer to report tHb, and it had previously been disabled. Software
upgrades do not change configuration settings.

NEW Software upgrade instructions (shared previously with software release 1.11):

1. Insert a USB stick with the software files to be installed into the type A USB port in the back of the
instrument.

2. Navigate to the System tab of the System>Setup menu and press the button labeled "Update Software":

3. If not already logged in as administrator then the following login form will be displayed, login with
administrator credentials and press “OK”:

4. The following message box will be displayed while the software is being updated, which can take several
minutes. Once the software is updated the system will reboot.

5. After the system reboots navigate to the Sensors tab of the System>Diagnostics menu and verify that the
expected software version is installed.

NOTE: Once the software is upgraded to version 1.11 or later, downgrading to a version prior to 1.11
may fail and is not recommended due to changes that were made to the database to support encryption
of patient identifiable patient information for cybersecurity purposes.
