B. EQUIPMENT
Plastic Bottle
Funnel
Vinegar
Baking Soda

C. LABORATORY SAFETY PRECAUTIONS (AT LEAST 3)

Wear safety glasses to make sure your eyes are always safe from all harmful substance
especially the Vinegar since it is an acid.
Use gloves if you have sensitive skin, some skin reacts to vinegar such as itching, skin
redness, etc.
Be careful not to mix the vinegar to other unknown chemical since it is an acid it can
react vigorously to other agents and compounds.

D. EXPERIMENTAL SETUP (LABEL COMPLETELY THE APPARATUS USED.)

III. PROCEDURE
Prepare all the materials needed for the whole experiment.
Put the bottle in a stable area then put the funnel on the top of it.
Then Pour the baking soda on the funnel that goes inside the bottle.
Next is Pour the vinegar carefully so it will not spill and overflow.
Observe the results

V. ANSWERS TO PRELABORATORY QUESTIONS

What is the purpose of this experiment?

The purpose of this experiment is to know how the vinegar reacts when mixed with
baking soda, one purpose is also to know which of the chemical needed to be increased in
terms of quantity in order to make more burst effect.
What do you think will be the chemical reaction?
As I have already seen these experiments before, I’d say it will be more like a volcano
effect, like a small one, bursting some liquid and can make some little smokes.
