COMPANY PROFILE
Sapphire textile industry currently run by MIAN ABDULLAH is a well-
known textile company by producing yarns, fabrics and dyed yarn in
thousands of tons per day. MIAN ABDULLAH is currently running
more than 3 companies in Pakistan and promoting his biggest brands at
globally countries like Asia, Europe, Australia and North America by
which he became at 13th position in Pakistan as a richest family.
Sapphire’s start is old as IndoPak history, it’s a brand since India and
Pakistan were 1, started in Calcutta and now it has nine mills named as
SAPPHIRE TEXTILE MILLS (STML) and SRL as SAPPHIRE
RETAILED MILL.
All of these mills located in Karachi and Punjab, 2 in Karachi and rest in
Punjab and as a sum they are all consist of 120,632 spinders, 3120
rotors, 292 looms and 215 stitching machines. STML was incorporated
in 1969 and listed in Karachi Stock Exchange. They have the most
organized setup providing almost 35 countries worldwide with
employees strength of 16,000. Sapphire group has also branched with
diary and power generation sectors. It also contributes in welfare
programs which led Sapphire to secure Sitara-e-Imtiaz, the star of
excellence to the chairman of the company. Sapphire continues to grow
in the textile industry and by the time they are more into textile world by
providing the high quality fabric.

YARNS: STML is providing special fibers for special and high
super quality yarn which further classified into other types of
yarns like Cool max yarn, Soybean yarn, Modal yarns etc. which
are manufacture in their own warehouse with improved
technology fulfilling the Niche marketing needs.

Woven
Woven they provide is made up in their own units which is
providing market for dyed yarns and piece dyed fabric of their
own brand their rang consists of Canvases, satins, Bedford cord,
twills, poplins, stretch fibers etc.

DYED YARN FABRIC :

They are providing specialized quality dyeing material includes
reactive and disperse yarns which later can be bleach to have a
desired yarn shades with multiple choices.

KNITE:
They use high dying technologies for their knite which is
versatile and capable of processing of both open and tubular
piece of fabrics. They make their machines and equipment plants
improve to fulfill the global environmental requirements. They
use Mayer’s, Camber’s and Terrot’s knitting machines imported
outside Pakistan for improved quality of their fleece, jersey etc.

MADE UP RANGES:
They provide about all the home used fabrics like bed sheets,
towels, curtains, table covers, napkins, and many more.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

MOHAMMAD ABDULLAH

He is the chairman and founder of SAPPHIRE TEXTILE MILLS, and

other group companies of SAPPHIRE having a life time experience with
his field of business and has been in this business for about 50 years or
more than that. He has skills and very advance skills in internal and
external working in textile industry which is increasing by the time with
greater efficiency and improvement. He goes outside to improve his
groups and industries in respect to increase his experience and also share
in the industry. He also received Sitara e Imtiaz for his work in the field.

NADEEM ABDULLAH

He is the chief executive of STML and also director in other group of

companies. He is also the director and member of Young President
Organization, The Indus Entrepreneur, India Pakistan Chief Executive
Business Form, Pakistan Business Council and Standard Chartered
Pakistan. He worked in the field of growing the product expansion of the
organization and developing values to the sales, revenues and profit. He
engaged himself in the field of textile industry which led him to have a
deep understanding and grip in this field of business. He has developed
multiple options of rules in regard of marketing, sales, product
development management and supply chain management fields.

DIRECTOR(S)
SHAHID ABDULLAH
He has been the part of SAPPHIRE TML 1980.He is a decision
maker of the company at various and critical times balancing his
duties and responsibilities to the company. He is the part of the
project management and new project ideas with short and long
term flexibility with in excellence manner of expansion and
development of the company’s product line. He is the one who
introduced the KNITTING lines in the STML. He has a great
experience and skills in this industry especially in plant and
machinery management, raw materials and other assets of the
company. He has contributed in the successful creation of
goodwill of STML in sales and promotions in export and local
markets.

AMER ABDULLAH
After having master’s degree from USA, he started his career with
STML and other companies as a director in 1990. He has handled
various projects which led the company to have a great impact on diary
and textile industry. He also contributed a lot in creating the goodwill for
STML products in domestic and also in international markets.

YOUSUF ABDULLAH
He started his career with master’s degree which he received from UK.
As STML he is also in BOP of other companies. He has very good skills
regarding the field of textile, machinery, knitting etc. He is serving with
excellence intelligence of executing the project of implementation and
expansion in the product line. By the time, He came up with his own
textile brand with a good experience in sales promotion. He also
contributed in goodwill of STML national and international both. He
handles his business very successfully at STML and other
industries with his own brand too.

NABEEL ABDULLAH
Having an economics degree from LSOF, he started with a internee at
Citi in London for 3 months then after a training of 1 year he was
appointed as a director for STML. He is currently working in weaving
sight of the STML with sales promotions, overseeing of raw materials,
production of the brand and also handling with the accounts and
financial responsibilities in STML.

SHAYAN ABDULLAH
Having a BS degree in business from USA, and other degree from LSOE
he joined STML as a director and started working in textile industry as a
director of raw material overseeing of various groups of Sapphire groups
of companies.

NADEEM KARAMAT
He holds a MBA degree from San Francisco in Finance and
Management and also have a great experience of 30 years at banking
and corporate sectors, he also serve as a member of BOD at LUMS and
later appointed director at Government Of Pakistan on Intellectual
Property Rights. As a Director of STML he is also director at
banks like Soneri Bank, Faysal Bank and others too.
